psy, interesting that you refer to "Jeroen's voting bloc"; do you think Dudesoft is just following whatever Jeroen says without making his own calls? I don't think that's particularly fair to Dudesoft considering he did explain his votes yesterday. Sure, he talked about backing up his mason brother, but he had good reasons for doing so.

No, I don't really think that, I was just being flippant.

...Basically I'm saying bodyguard should claim. I'm not saying this because I want them to die. I'm saying this because I'm stupid and I think I'm doing something statistically smart, even when I'm probably not.

No, they shouldn't claim, they should do their job and protect confirmed town / masons. I would be prettty skeptical of a bodyguard claim now anyway considering they let Fomar die, if they exist -- it's not necessarily sorceror who would fakeclaim.

Also, I'm (grudgingly) lowering my Trihan towniness percent, I completely forgot that the sorceror would also be strugging to understand scum logic and it'd sure give them an incentive to not vote against anyone.

If this day really does end in two hours, is there anyone who can commit to being around for it?

With 9 alive and effectively 3 scum, it'll take all but one town vote to kill scum, which is less than encouraging.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

This is AE scumpost, 4th vote on a train and no reference to any of the previous votes or arguments: https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/25302/?post=909635#post909635, plus my guess is an attempt to bait Atiya/Odd/Trihan to place a hammer vote.

I still think demon's likely scum, I just think AE's even likelier. (and the "no one hammered demon" argument doesn't hold with majority voting, so)

But come on, 95%? If you're town, then you just want him to be town at this point just as much as I want the two of you to be scum.

Well yeah, of course, but it's waaay more likely and less wishful thinking than yours haha

@Atiya: Trihan and Odd are the only ones who haven't shown up. Although I'd request you /not/ vote for me, obviously. The current train on me is Jeroen's voting bloc and then my two scumreads.

Also, why is this day only 24 hours?

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

My argument for Trihan as town: read https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/25302/?post=909550#post909550 and https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/25302/?post=909551#post909551 and tell me Trihan looks like scum. The first post isn't sound, but it's the second where he's actively reassessing what scum's goals are. I don't see scum doing that. Scum posting about their own train of thought posts garbage like "I wonder if scum could be doing x, no wait they could also be doing y -- we just can't know" vs "I was wrong, scum is definitely doing this." He'd been looking townish all day before that as well.

So if I'm 95% confident Trihan is town, and a nokill is a decent play, I'm picking nokill. I also actively bailed out Odd when it was clear he was town as well.

If Trihan's scum then I accept blame for throwing the game but otherwise I feel pretty much 100% of my calls are justified here (and then I'll blame Jeroen)

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Confirmed via moderator we're using majority voting, so no one could've died yesterday regardless.

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

and I'd say that's a pretty clear rebuttal of "only scum would be okay with nokill yesterday"

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Wait really? You're definitely not counted on the votes at EOD, so it appeared to me to be a tie 3v3 demonlord vs Trihan, and I assumed plurality voting so anyone could've popped in last minute and swung it. If it's majority voting then I guess both my EOD actions and your missing vote are irrelevant, but under plurality voting then Trihan should be dead.

(I pm'd Muffle re: plurality/majority but no answer yet)

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

@Jeroen: Well, ideally it'd be nokill-nokill-nokill while the seer is protected by the bodyguard, but we just didn't have a bodyguard (or at least not a competent one). And I'm still pretty confident Trihan's town.

@LockeZ: That Muffle had a rule that ties were nullified makes me believe it was plurality vote vs majority vote, ie, by removing my demonlord vote I could've killed Trihan.

But, yeah, please also keep in mind that the confirmed seer was around during day's end and made the exact same choice that I did, not to mention if I wanted a nokill all I'd have to do was disappear at the end of the day. (someone showing up last minute to kill demon would also be fine but no one bit... I wonder why that is~)

[MAFIA] Is this Werewolf?

Also, if you want further justification on no-kill yesterday: in a 2-wolf 1-sorceror setup, killing town yesterday would've made today mylo

#lynch Demonlord

AE I'd consider more likely to be scum based on votes alone, but the difficulty in getting demonlord killed yesterday makes me think at least one scum was lurking around and could've moved the needle but chose not to.

I'm less convinced of Trihan towniness as well, because if demon were scum, it'd be easy for the other scum to show up and vote Trihan. That'a assuming their vote wasn't /already/ on Trihan so I would probably put LockeZ as scum before Trihan (LockeZ posted all of twice yesterday and rode his Trihan vote to the end -- if he was scum with Demon it'd make sense to not back show up because he'd have to justify what was originally a jokevote, and removing it would kill Demon)
