2K/2K3 scripting program request!

author=Cherry
Actually, there was no progress in this project for ages. That's because I simply had no time and still have none. But I hope that some day, when there are only 5 RM2k3 users left ( ;-D ) I'll continue.

No wonder the program wasn't allowing me to script! All it was, was a strange game where you pressed a and backspace to turn switches on, input random numbers, and mess around with the mouse cursor, it doesn't work -_-
Meanwhile, I don't feel like having a german program...

Kind of simple title screen request...

I'm doing it. But...since I usually do strange looking ones, may I, add a few strange effects to it, say...like copy it, invert the color, than paste it on there so the normal ground is over a black sky or something like that? I may not be making sense...but to me, that would look more interesting than just the white sky, have a black sky with shiny clouds and grass.

Guard Detection Using Field-Of-View

V_V I followed all the instructions, and when I did my test, the gaurd immediately sees me, no matter where I put my character, and comes after me...pretty much, the script in the event is passing off all the variables placed, and then going straight to the switch, turning it on...and then the switch, since my second page gets the gaurd to "rape" me, and then get a game over, that's exactly what happens. No matter where my character is, no matter if he is clear on the other side of the ****ing map...-_-...the gaurd finds me...

I am thankful for the countless number of jaded people on this site who post their theories in the game design and theory so I can copy paste it into my notes.
I am also thankful for Legionwood,Hero's Realm, Drunken Paladin, and many other countless games that inspire me today.

I can just remember them! But maybe I SHOULD start taking notes ^_^

Guard Detection Using Field-Of-View

Erm, it does work in RM2K3. The commands might be slightly different since the game I used as the example is an RM2K game, but the system itself works fine.
OH, and I tried it in RPG maker 2000, GUESS WHAT! IT DIDN'T WORK!!! >:(

The stigma of discussing your own game on the Game Design forum

So, as far as I understand this, if I went and said that I had/have a game that fits a topic well, like an example say, the Jail game that I tried to make and VX, it was on this thread about games and problems where some things you have to explain straight out to the player or when you just let them think of it themselves, the topic was called Imagination in RPG's, i talked about my game and how confusing it was and how it didn't make sense, and when you taveled time and killed yourself, time still went on, that whole block of words wouldn't be allowed, because it was dealing with a game which I technically was "advertising".
It's just like on a VX game I'm making now(no, not on the computer I'm using to type this, it's on the family computer, this PC that has the right resolution, speaking of which, FakeRes doesn't seem to get my programs working on this computer -_-), if I were to use it as a example, I don't think I'd get scolded, but it would be more like advertising my game, and if I did it enough I'd probably get banned, if not just kicked for a small amount of time? I'm not making sense probably, but, that doesn't sound right.

I am thankful for Miyamoto and...(how am I a sonic fan and I don't remember the name of the most famous programmer in that game! V_V) for giving us Mario and Sonic! I'm thankful for Kikyama, for Yume Nikki, in fact...I'M THANKFUL FOR JAPAN! THEY MAKE THE BEST GAMES I'VE EVER SEEN!!! Who wouldn't be thankful for them? They are one of the main reasons that we HAVE games, other than the people in america who made the first video games...usually they get their games a year before we do, and I'm just happy that they can be happy ^_^ I'm also thankful for the games themselves because I can make fan-games, remakes and all that other crap you guys love, I know you do ^_^. I am, finally, thankful for EnterBrain who, sucks at pricing this crap we use to make games, at least allows us to use them, just like Dan, the person who made 2k/2k3 free, and american ^_^.(only hatred I have against Japan is that not only do they make the best stuff, but they don't give it to us immediately, and it seems they price it higher here when they do!)

2K/2K3 scripting program request!

Thank you...but I don't know LUA, let's hope I learn it ^_^
