Honestly, this is what a remake should be like. Just for comparison sake, here's that scene (roughly :P) in the original game;

What's Coming Up Soon!

Okay, okay.. I'd be remiss if I didn't continue on my request winning streak (a streak of one, go me! XD) -- but, as mentioned in one of the posts earlier; how about the jumping mechanic? Is that going to make a return? :D

Bug Reporting and Feedback Blog

Basically anything that has an overlay seems to cause trouble, so that might as well include RivaTuner (which Afterburner is based off) and after more tests this also includes Steam, if people run MQRM via Steam itself.

Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest Remastered

Ah, the joys of gaming rigs eh? :D Oh well, at least I found the cause and it's not something more serious. Closing Afterburner won't damage the card, it just means the fans will get louder with nothing to control them via 2D/3D profiles. No real biggie.. <3

Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest Remastered

Found it.. it's basically conflicting with any app that uses a screen overlay; the only way to play is to close xfire, FRAPS and MSI Afterburner. The first two are fine - but the last one? I kinda need that one running as it maintains the fans on my GTX570.

Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest Remastered

i5-2500k/4.5Ghz, 8GB DDR3, GTX570, Win7-x64 -- as for programs? Mostly the usual; Chrome, Skype, Live Messenger, Steam, Microsoft Security Essentials, uTorrent, etc etc. Plus dozens of standard Windows services. I checked the techreadme and it made mention of a debugger, but as far as I know I don't have any debuggers running - I've no need of them.

Oh and the error is there even on base 1.2 install without patching.

Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest Remastered

I did exactly that :\ I installed 1.2 (base) and then ran 1.4 patch. Same thing: "attempt to access invalid memory"

Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest Remastered

No, I get the error when I try to play :'(
