I am looking to get into spriting just for this site, because the fans are more into it...
But my animation skill in sprite is limited...

So fark, i like legend of mana.
it's not really pixel by pixel, but it gets the looks.



Or maybe something like breath of fire,it looks very anti aliased and blend with the background so well.

I'd love very specific tutorials too, but feel free to share your thoughts!

This argument is pretty cheap.
Why not just point out how JRPGs throughout the times has been protraying the western fantasy in a somewhat, tired, and racially offensive at times, constantly dramatized, cliche?

It won't hurt. Just very long chain of opinions.

Let's start from pointing out that one Arabian/Indian dialect defamatory conversations being done in Assassin's Creed brotherhood, or in Hideo Kojima's MGR.

I don't think "well, other people have been racially insensitive" is a very good justification.

I'm not saying it's racially insensitive.

I'm not saying it's irracial.
it's in you or me, it's fundamental.

It's funny to him because it's there. It's insulting to you because it's there.

This is pretty full blown because, i don't know.
There's no good reason.

It's turning into some social justice game like tumblr and gamespot often have, and little to no result. Often at the expense of the dev.

Tell me a game that is, insensitive by foundation?
Even Pokemon is insulting to PETA because it treats animal irresponsibly.
They even made a parody game of it.


If the argument is "insensitive", i could point out how THIS is a dev site,
the least you should be doing is hacking a part of a development without suggesting something EQUALLY better.

I would change the name of the restaurant to Dragon Quest.

Now that Dragon Wang could turn to Dragon Quest...
maybe we can start discussing that if the name is copyrighted,should there be C&D call? The restaurant should fit the new name, will someone suggest a new joke to fit into this part?

I have a good idea:
The Dragon Quest Restaurant, its patron discuss this particular event, or the game its tributed.
And maybe point out how the restaurant owner, is some asian with heavy accent who plays the game obsessively, even during restaurant hours.
You can even keep the accent/dialect joke!

How's that?
It could be a long process. It happens in some game.
You know how a writing is. Change the restaurant name, the people who talk about it, the story related to it. This won't happen if the showcase is in video and less of a screenshot.

And you shouldnt be celebrating a dev "willingness".
That is pretty costly.
Like that new mass effect ending. Look how much manpower goes into the new writing.
