author=hawkeye77o4You would get a lot more exposure and response if you actually posted the problems. As a programmer who frequents on forums and such it makes sense because then everyone can contribute to the problem and it helps to promote solving the problem rather than keeping it to yourself.
I did this because I have a whole slew of problems and I believe working one on one would be the most efficient way to solve them.

I must say "Hero of Allacrost" looks amazing and the fact that you did it from scratch in C++ gets you major props from me.
I also agree that game design is limited by our imagination. I think you got some good points there about quick battle command selection as it would give the player something to do while waiting for their turn. I think the most hardest one to implement would be your idea #4, having multiple characters attack at once, it would be really fun if you ever did pull it off well and would be a very attractive feature in your game.

why there aren't enough women in the gaming industry, what's wrong with that?There's nothing wrong with that, why should it be wrong?
That's like saying "Hey there aren't enough men in the fashion industry, whats wrong with that?" I don't think there's anything wrong with that? Because if women want a job in the game industry they will have to go through the same hardship as their male counterparts. So I can only assume that women don't want to work in the game industry, however if they do they are more than welcome to.
I think even saying something like that is a bit sexist, I mean why would you notice that there isn't enough women in the gaming industry out of the many things that the gaming industry could be lacking? Do we need more women in the industry? Should we have more?
I always found it kinda confusing when people say things like that. It shouldn't matter if you are a woman or a man, what the gaming industry needs is passionate talented people who like games and love their job.

I have been messing around with Java. So far I made a functional menu and item. Wish I had some awesome ideas that I could use this for.
