Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.
I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.
I want to make games with you.

This reminds me of when I gave Forever's End a bad score and then got accused of doing it simply to lower the average rating out of spite.
If you don't agree with the review then review it yourself and share your own opinion. Every game needs more reviews.
It's fine, Pizza, I wasn't trying to discredit Corfaisus' opinion, in fact I found it interesting, and I wanted him to further explain. I wanted him to clarify what he thought was good and bad about the game, to enhance the quality of his reviewing. If he better articulated in the review exactly what made the game good or bad, then I would have respected the review a lot more. I also feel that even in the most abysmal games you can find some thread of what is good in there, and elaborate exactly what was bad and how it could have been made better. Positive dialectic can also result in epiphanies, and it's never good to shy away or shun arguments that are there to provide constructive force rather than destructive.
Labyrinthine Dreams Review
What were they expecting, for it to all turn out rosy and she gets better? Or an image of her dying on her death bed? Either option would have been cheesy, but the way you handled it heightened its meaning.
Looking forward to seeing the graphically upgraded version, and hopefully this will help with the addition of more prominent visual cues and style.

author=Saileriusauthor=LibertyWhy do you assume this has anything to do with your team? I first commented on the issue before your team signed up.
Can I just point out that for MaMa the team consists of people making a house interior (1-3 maps) with their own mini story. The lead developer in this case is the one who has to make sure everything fits, sew it all together into a legible story, make a bunch of extra filler maps and do all the intro/outro/main plot/etc eventing (as well as making sure everyone else's inclusions work).
With less people signing up than in the last two years, I'm expecting to do a lot more mapping and eventing than before. I mean, the stats for maps created in the last two were:
contributors:me
THANOY - 29:12
WETSS - 17:28
Still a lot of work there. I'm not saying that having a big team doesn't help out a lot with the production of a game but I think a lot of the 'fairness' in this case depends on the projects themselves and how the work is divided up, rather than the amount of people in the group.
She's just clarifying. I think she doesn't want people to resent her for having a big team, but that should be beyond Liberty's concerns since everyone knows she's trying to engage the community in a collaborative effort to enjoy it, not to win a competition unfairly. It just so happens that All Hallows coincides with her project.
Meanwhile, I have no problem with big teams. In fact, more RPG Maker games should be made with big teams, and we should be encouraging this kind of thing, in my opinion. There should be no restrictions to creativity, except the ones you place upon yourself. As for winning the contest, do all you can to create the best game you can, because we're all about making fantastic games. Team size should not matter at all.

Time to become a prominent developer! (Goal has been set.)
Aww, you're already a prominent developer in my eyes <3

Night and day system? Interesting to see how this mechanic would pan out in a horror game. Your art style is intimidatingly superb, however. Tentacle-head is so cute, I don't want him to get hurt, let alone tortured. Poor thing doesn't get enough sun, he needs a bit of Vitamin D I'd reckon.
The Drop
It's a pity I'm so busy lately otherwise I'd play and review this game, as well as finish that interview that I requested of Deltree. Don't worry Deltree, I haven't forgot about you!

RMN calls for dev work, and we answer.
No greater good.
No just cause.
$100 steam card is a just cause in my eyes, and everyone knows that money is the greater good.

author=kentonaauthor=SnowOwlIt has a massive 640x320 banner...
Why is there no post or something of this even on the front site? I had to search through recent posts to find this. Now I'm a day late ;_;
People were complaining about redundancy on the frontpage, so I haven't always accompanied a banner update with a WHATS BUZZING post.
Redundancy is good though.
Good luck to all, our team is gonna win so don't even try, but good luck anyway.

I doubt we'll ever see another game reach this high of a download count again. You never know, though. Maybe (PewDiePie, was it?) will bring people in again. I'd prefer that it didn't happen though.
Why not? Drawing more people to be interested in RPG Maker is a good thing, right? Surely outsiders aren't so cancerous?
