I am CashmereCat now.

Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.
I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.
I want to make games with you.

is that your own art, MBT? if so, you've really improved over the years. nice job!
jomar: lol i made wine & roses in three weeks for last year's halloween month-long event and it won 1st place popular vote/2nd place judge vote. like liberty said, time is what you make of it.
Well, to be fair, three weeks is almost a month. I still play Wine & Roses on occasion though. I have a feeling you're only about to up the ante this time round, though. I'm ready to get pwned.

Our game will make the deadline, even if our gamepage is dead.
So what actually happened? You linked to a blog post that didn't exist. Did your gamepage just get accidentally deleted? Why can't you make another one?

Welp, had to announce some pretty bad news on the blog this morning...
Page not found? That is some pretty bad news.
The Drop
Hey Deltree, just started playing your game The Drop, will possibly *drop* a review, and have currently *dropped* a couple of hours into this thing although it will probably be many more.
What I like about this game is the ability to create your own custom stories. This game is a roguelike, but with a lot more flavour than usual (and considerably better graphics than your usual roguelike bothers to put in). The sheer depth of this game is impressive, especially for RPG Maker but the uniqueness of the game as a roguelike is impressive even of itself (no RPG Maker qualifier).
One of the stories I created within an hour of starting is that I wondered what would happen if you chucked a fire dust at a skeleton. Obviously, it lit the area around the skeleton on fire, and sent them chasing after me. I used my confuse spell on them to make them go away. Also, I threw some purple liquid at a Fih'Jik refugee and it says "it has taken a liking to me". It now follows me around as my personal little sidekick. He started fighting a bird creature for me but he died so I killed the bird.
This game gives you the opportunity to create a story of your own. It also has the opportunity to consume all your time. Thumbs up, and I probably won't pursue a review until I've spent some considerable hours on it. Then I'll come through with the interview (one day). Cheers and keep doing what you do.

[Poll] What do you think about multiple endings?
What about the Walking Dead-style ending, where there is one ending but several eventualities leading up to that single ending? That is what I believe a lot of games should be like, because some games include multiple endings as unnecessary addons to "entice" the player. However, I'll be honest, I'm unlikely to play through your game more than once unless it's *really* good. Maybe I'm weird, but that's just how I feel.

The Screenshot Topic Returns
@mawk Yes that's a good point. It's due on October 31st for All Hallows, but if I had a longer timeframe, I would try to find or develop a script that had a fog-of-war, that events could not be seen around corners but everything else could be seen clearly. Then you see the entire map's outline whilst not being able to see anything outside of your character's first-person perspective. It'd probably be a useful script with all these horrors coming out, too.
