THATBENNYGUY'S PROFILE

I am CashmereCat now.

~~~
Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.
I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.
I want to make games with you.
Story line Maker Event
Oh. So now I know which stories got placings. And none of them are mine. Oh.
Congrats on the winners ;)
Is anyone working on a romance RPG at the moment?
Romancing Walker was fantastic. The dynamic of the relationship system was very flexible, and it felt like each choice you made affected your relationships.
But from woe, if reacted to correctly, comes strength of character :)
Mana Quest 2: Corruption of Kings Review
No problemo. Because that's what separates the amateur games from professional games: polish. The little details are usually the things that count the most, and if you continue this game in the future, fine-tuning the mechanics, then I bet that you can make a legendary game. Cheers NCP.
side characters
I think this is the default. Usually your party can hold up to 4 members.
What are you thinking about right now?
Seriously that stinks. Try using anonymizer.com or something.
Demo Length
Looking forward to it, noellechan! Feel free to PM me when you post the demo.
Under-Rated Games People Should Play
Oh yeah I remember I read your review of Wither some time back. Didn't like it. But oh well, your opinions are your opinions. I must say though that I like when games' primary purpose isn't just to entertain you, or to make you have "fun". For example, Counter-Strike isn't particularly fun, it's brutal and hard and difficult. But the reason why you play comes because you anticipate the feeling of success, but can't quite reach it. And that's what I think ~~indie~~ games are playing on but aren't quite reaching. Metaphors are good and all, combined with beautiful art, but each element has to have its meaning to the whole piece, like a well-formed work of art or an orchestra of music. That's what ~~indie~~ games (as you have described) try to work on, is a fully complete and artistic experience.
