I am CashmereCat now.

Twisted baubles replace my brain and I am toxic yet nice. There's a lot to me, but also not a lot going on up there, they say. PM me because I love attention, I do interviews, I do reviews, I do stuff. Here for the long haul. Gotta hustle.
I'm working on whatever I'm working on, and I love RPG Maker games that aren't traditional RPGs. Puzzlers, interactive stories, but nothing too abstract that'll weird me out. Just give me a polished gem and I'll stare at it for days, marveling at the way the light reflects just right, inner inflections, potato top pie.
I want to make games with you.

Averting level grinding
RPGs are valued for their randomness and flexibility. Repetitiveness is not design, but rather anti-design. Forcing players to play certain parts of your game again and again without any real new challenge is boredom, not good design. Grinding must be a flexible and adaptive mechanic, giving you interesting decisions and trade-offs, instead of repetitive forced continuations that may lead to success or failure indeterminately.
Really Hard Questions!
Evening all!
What are you thinking about right now?
Good bye good friend.....
Ew yuck. I mean, what a way to die. I actually prefer the story that she lost her husband and became love-sick and died due to a broken heart. Yeah, that's better.
Under-Rated Games People Should Play
author=CrazeMKID232You just answered it here. Attack of the indie clone wars, gogogogo.
While that is a nice picture of what I presume to be cavestory or something similar, that doesn't answer my question.
Oh so by ~~indie~~ games you mean "mainstream" indie games. Like you're hipster and crap, and all the successful indie games are unimaginative and boring. Because they're ~~popular~~ and they got great ~~reviews~~ and the critics ~~adore~~ them.
But srsly. Don't diss Braid, you probably ain't even played it.
Anyway, Tombi! 2 was a game I enjoyed as a kid. Not sure if it's under-rated as such, but I literally spent hours just collecting and cooking meat to sell to nearby traders. It was fun for me, somehow. The game was hilarious, and deep with some great minigames.

Mana Quest 2: Corruption of Kings
I'm about to do my review of your game, but... your willowisps are incredibly overpowered. They killed me 5 times in a row. #justsayin
Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
I'm working on a free-roaming wanderlust epic featuring a chicken as your main protagonist. Your objective is to wander around a deserted town, gobbling up as many seeds as you go. The town has mysteries behind it, which you have to uncover. The hardest part is making enough maps. The finished game will have 50x50=2500 maps, all 17x17 in size. They will link together Legend-of-Zelda-style (pun intended), seamlessly and integratably (if that even is a word).
2500 maps, 30 projected days, 2500/30=83 maps a day. 2 hours work a day, 43 maps an hour, a little under 1 map a minute. So yeah, I'm screwed.
