The Arms of Reverie
The world is divided by a great darkness known as the Nebula. The Dark forces, led by an Evil Prince are trying to gain control of an ancient power and finish war that began over a thousand years ago.

How do you decide to make a story into a game?

I think a game allows you to connect with the characters more than just writing a story would. Going through the actions yourself makes you feel more a part of the story. Yeah its one thing to read about how Cloud gave the black materia to sephiroth, but it's a whole other thing to be the one to do it.

Number of Characters?

Quina is useful if you collect enough frogs. Just sayin.

And I think the ideal number is your battle party plus 50% more (Eg. 4-6, 6-9, 8-12, etc.)

The only caveat to that being, if you at some point in your game divide your party into multiple parties. (Something FFVI did well).

So unless your game handles 30+ players in a single battle party, 50 characters is probably too many.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

Last night, it was One Must Fall 2097. I blame the Battledrome! It's been a while since I've played any fighting game, but it's amazing how much I remembered from previous plays!

Gargoyle FTW

Thanks! I don't know if it looks different on my computer, but the shading on the armor makes them look like they stand out to me, idk.

Eternal – Return of the Void

Played the demo, die in the forest immediately every time. Aside from that the maps are beautiful.

Project Destroyed...

Your passcode should still be good, just reinstall the engine and use the same code

The Hallowed Line

Are your maps parallax? They all look amazing!

The Screenshot Topic Returns

The bottom definitely looks better, though some faint shadowing might be nice

Aren't most your tiles in mack anyway, not RTP? I think the mapping was one of the most attractive parts of the game.

I collect dreams.

I am so infinitely jealous of you, you have no idea
/surprisingly has never had a sexy dream in her life

Honestly, I never really had them until I was married. I can remember having maybe 2 or 3 in my pre-marriage/engagement life. And most of them are actually about her too. I'm either the luckiest or the most naive person in the world, either way I'm happy, haha.
