I think I'm pretty much done with Game Making. Just decided to post this and hopefully someone might enjoy it.

Name: Wind Walker
Link: https://rpgmaker.net/games/11530/
Status: Complete
Genre: Puzzle/Adventure
Length: About 1 hour.

My first attempt at a non-RPG game. I no longer have to game file, so can't make any changes.

I'll take a look.

LEARSON - Chapter Four

author=EnricBlack
Is there going to be a chapter 5? there better be one after spending the last 2 days playing through each chapter I am quite interested to see how this game turns out.

I second this. It's been years. Still waiting for that Chapter 5 you promised me on my review of Chapter 4.

[RMXP] [RMVX] [RMVX ACE] [RMMV] Writing and Eventing Services

Hello world!

I would like to offer you the chance to have high quality writing for your games. Whether you need character bio's, world design, scenarios, dialogue, or just plain ol' filler.

Check out my prices:

Writing Services:

*Game Design Document: $50

Character Biography: $5 per page

Dialogue: $10 per page.

Scenario: $10 per page.

Fictional Mythology:
$10 for up to five dieties (1-2 pages) and another $2 for every extra diety.
$10 to write up a cult (1-2 pages)

Further, I am fairly brilliant at RPG Maker eventing. Whether you need scenes, puzzles, or systems (even systems that probably should be scripted instead), I can bring them to you and expand the limits of your game in ways you might not be able to imagine.

Check out my prices:

Eventing Services:

$10 base price per event-ed scene or task.

$20 base price per event-ed puzzle.

I can also work with RM95, RM2k, and RM2K3.

*A game design document is the foundational blue-print to building a game. The

larger the scope of the game, the larger the the design document may need to be.

It is a basic package that comes with basic character outlines, a scenario, a context for that scenario, and the world in which the context occurs for the scenario, as well as feature ideas. The price listed is for 5 pages. Every additional page is $5. Full character biographies have to be purchased seperately. Give me your notes and ideas and I will organize them into a design document or I can come up with everything myself. The game design document will not include pictures unless pictures are given to me and the space taken by pictures will not count towards pricing.

You may check out my games for a portfolio.

More recently, however, I have completed an undergraduate specialization in Game Design from CALART. I will deliver you quality.

I can also work with RM95, RM2k, and RM2K3, however, these have shortcomings, so I would charge a little extra for eventing.

All prices are subject to negotiation or barter. All payments must be paid in half up front.

[RMVX ACE] (Mapping) Need to beautify a large number of maps

I recommend Indra. Her maps are usually clean and pretty.

I probably could make few maps for you. You can pay me in cigarettes. Or and that's more likely, I'll need someone to proofread my game when i get around to making one again.

I remember you from when I active at this hobby. It's good to see you again! (You left that scalding review on my sister's game, lol.)

I think you do good work, so I'd be glad to do proofreading for you if you ever need it. Any help with this game would be greatly appreciated. The scope I set for it is too unwieldy.

And I trust your recommendation. I guess Indra will be getting some business.

Can we see some examples of the maps that need beautifying and how you want them to look afterwards?

Look at a sample map, and then you'll have a good idea of what needs to beautified, and/or reworked. A lot of maps are currently merely functional with very little detail. Others are literally just the sample maps acting as placeholders.

This user was offering to make maps for a small reasonable price, I hired them to make 1, I was pretty satisfied.

Thank you both for offering solutions. I will look into this (and into my wallet.) To see what I can spare.

I am the steppenwolf.

Really though, this is a reference to the novel, not the band. The band is also a reference to the novel. Lol.

Is VR Killing the JRPG?

I think a turned or action based JRPG is more than possible in VR.

A Lufia II style menu system (the most user-friendly combat menu ever made) would be very usable and intuitive in VR.

The VR could put you in the body of the protagonist during the battle - look to the left and see your white mage, look to the right and see your black mage. Look down and see the beautiful physique of a Paladin.

However, I imagine that attack animations may need to be made more realistic in order to not blow the brains out of the player.

This is marked as completed when it's very obviously not.

That aside, I saw your recent topic on the forums and was curious to try this out. This is a very cool idea, and I'm all for more games that take place in dreamscapes and such.

For what little I played, I liked a lot of the ideas, especially the surreal nature of everything. But I got frustrated quickly as I couldn't figure out where an equivalent of an inn or some place to restore HP was. (Knowing me, it may have been obvious and I just missed it?)

So I stopped playing after like 20 minutes or so. Can't really comment much on it from just that time, but it seems like some cool ideas thrown together but lacking something. The music is great tho.

Yeah, it is lacking something that unifies it into a whole, it doesn't quite have a 'core' to it. I'm glad you like some of the ideas.

I'll have to make note to add an obvious place in the main town. A fountain or something. There is an inn in an unobvious location though.

I am the steppenwolf.
