OLD/LOST RPGMAKER GAMES - SEGNIN'S RARE/OBSCURE RM GAMES REQUEST TOPIC

Posts

author=Gari
Hello God SegNin, I would like to ask for a Christmas box if you don't mind. The list is here: https://www.rpg-maker.fr/jeux-cimetiere.html.

I've already looked for all those games in 2019, and asked for the french community if they had them. I also mailed the developers I could (not a lot are answering).
If you didn't archive french games back in the day, there are two games you might have nonetheless:
Tales of the Seven Jewels by Linoa06 (english)
Sudoku by BetaBug (german)

credit to Gari for sharing this.
I don't remember that, but hey, with the little manipulation, it's totally possible. Or it was just easy to find.
I'm afraid I have almost no foreign games. I do have one of your requests though.

Sudoku (German)
https://mega.nz/file/AmQkUCIb#lAq1jXwMVBJYIa2DwgRWwaIzksYuKo20tna38Xs4QnY

I seem to remember years ago trying to get Tales of the Seven Jewels from that French site--that divshare link seems familiar--but the link for it was already dead. Which is why, if you think about it, it made no sense to post an English game to a French site. You're going to have far fewer play it, because not every French speaker is fluent enough in English. With fewer playing it, means fewer downloading it, so fewer copies floating around. And then you throw in that the hosting wasn't the best choice...sorry, but I don't think we're going to have much luck if the French community doesn't have it.
This time around, going through The Most Wanted Games list, I'll only include the games where I've found or upped working links or have questions/comments regarding them. I'm also going to mix in other requested uploads by PM or from elsewhere.

OK, this is getting rather long--mainly because of all the PM requests--so I'm stopping here, will post the rest in Part 2.
Well, one is one, I take it back! Thanks! (Whoa, tested the game and the use of Ineluki's patch is actually really smart).
Well, the english game was made by a french member, so it makes some little sense. Maybe he posted it elsewhere, but no trace found.

I agree posting english games in our site is not the smartest thing to do, even today. It's still better than it was though.
Yeah, that Sudoku game is an impressive piece of "coding" and it's not hard for someone who doesn't know German to figure out how to play it.

Now for some sort-of-bad news, guys.
If you downloaded any of my recent uploads that were labeled with RMXP and maybe also RMVX (there's only 2 of those) than your game will not work because, like a dunce, I neglected to include the RGSS10__.dll and without that .dll the game won't even start.

UPDATE: All the non-working games have been fixed and are ready to be redownloaded.
Here's the complete list:

RMVX - Final Finale XVII.rar
RMVX - Final Finale xD.rar

RMXP - Akasha Seal - Episode One - The One Forsaken.rar
RMXP - Akasha Seal - Episode Two - Mother.rar
RMXP - Akasha Seal - Episode Three - The Time Limit On Trust.rar
RMXP - Akasha Seal - Episode Four - Fall Apart.rar
RMXP - Final Fantasea Eversoft.rar
RMXP - Lufia 2 (Xp Engine).rar
RMXP - Nadir's Canon.rar (which has been split into 2 rars for both games)
RMXP - Sacred Tears Zero.rar
RMXP - Shades - Chapter 0 - Grey.rar
RMXP - Maia 2k7.rar
RMXP - Willa & Rott - The Unnatural Tale of a Girl and Her Dog.rar

AAH! THANKS really a lot for these! I've waited years to find them!
If there will be also The Lover's Final Ballad (also among the requests, same author, was deleted from the web and there's going to be a new version/remake with different title... someday!) it would be really Christmas! Anyway impressive job!

yesss, correct, it should be this one: https://rmarchiv.de/games/2211
I don't have the The Lover's Final Ballad, sorry.
Also, I've sorted out the font issue where I thought that they were exclusive to Thai Windows, though I wondered why would they be in English then. Turns out that they are standard for English Windows too and that I was missing 2 of them, somehow. So, Sacred Tears Zero will be back up soon.

I don't have the The Lover's Final Ballad, sorry.

Nevermind. I'm monitoring the forum where it should come out the new version, I will archive it as soon as it comes out, before it disappears into darkness (again)!

...Quick post here, would anyone happen to have the file:
Holiness1.wav?

This wav file seems to be pop up more than once in some of the games I've converted RTP resources for recently, while using RMtool. In particular miaka's adventure(RM2k) and The Most Stupidest Game Ever - Re-duh!(RM2k) seem to need it, but they're perfectly playable without it.

Now, I have a copy of rpgmaker2000 from 2004 and rpgmaker2003 from 2007, but I've never come across this particular file. I even checked the easyrpg rtp database for cross referencing and it doesn't seem to come up.

So, yeah if any of you older members from before 2000-2002ish happen to have old rpgmaker games from 2000-2002 lying around on your harddrive, take a look for it, maybe you guys might have it, it might be in an old rpgmaker game somewhere. Like, we don't really need it, but it'd be good to have for completionist sake.
It's not RTP.

It's originally from Blades of Heaven, but only the early versions, which I no longer have.

However, I do have that file, so here is Holiness1.wav if you still want it:

*snip*

(unrelated note: one game, I wish I could've got my hands on was the most recent version of "YSNE: Hope of Dream " - it had a really cool battle system and in one of the more recent videos, they had the player reconstruct "The Last Supper" as a puzzle - but it's seeing stuff like that, that makes playing rpgmaker games from other communities, so exciting, because it's really interesting to see what rpgmaker games other communities will come up with.)
Don't know if you already found this, but I believe this is the one you were looking for:
https://www.hellsoft.net/H5/component/remository/Juegos/Rpg-Maker-2003/YSNE-Hope-of-a-dream-Expansion/?Itemid=537

Also, I noticed you had my old upload of Nadir's Canon where, to save space, I took both episodes and put them in the same archive, where I only kept one copy of all the duplicated music files between the 2, storing those in a separate--you know what, screw all that. I've since separated the 2, put back all the mp3s where they should be, fixing both games. They're both uploaded to my new Mega archive, ready to play.
And now, as promised, here's Part 2 of The Most Wanted Games list.

Jaquio - Angel of Death
https://mega.nz/file/ZjJ3jSCR#qKVdfwPrfM4ONWfay6R_yomnNwRmMNoraDMzezyllUY

Legends of CaranA - The Ring of Orion

Memento Vivere
https://mega.nz/file/53ghjCjY#vKdW0PwxQWePmtRuHQHkP_jcOWf_yu21wPBmr9XwX1Y

Name 73 (last version;playable desert) (need to check 4.0 might be it)
** I can confirm that 4.0 was the last publicly released version. I actually remember this one being something I was looking forward to seeing finished (but alas...) And you already have it, so no need to dust off my copy.

Soul 5
https://mega.nz/file/U6wBFJZZ#fhu3I0m9DBu7r3Edke2lwLvn9XooL-AM2D9kQ0g0m80

Take Down Legacy Episode II - Muspellheimr
** WAS NEVER EVER RELEASED. Apparently Dudesoft had his computer fail on him twice and decided to put this game on indefinite hiatus going back 10 years ago. Since there are no copies, this one should be removed from the Wanted List.

The Eternal Struggle
https://mega.nz/file/4mglzZpJ#jR1LfoOk9E1NgNWnNCsBCa5eLmDpE0XcTkedLtAL_L4

The Illutionists Japan Land
When Archeia_Nessiah made this request, I think she meant a game called Japan Land by someone called The Illusionist (typo on the name).

The Power of Chaos
https://mega.nz/file/c3J31LBb#rVCdK9vqTi_l_wrq4Ew8pdosIrP1X6OfXXqH6eEQhIg
** Actually named Final Fantasy - The Power of Chaos, and to my absolute shock, I somehow have this. I don't know if there's a more recent/complete version. But here's my copy.

Tomato Quest Games
https://mega.nz/file/Rqw3xaZD#04yRgx2GpoYejby0QNQ4wB7o3whJbK5VHBzkTStGaAs
** I have a Tomato Quest, not sure if it's most recent, etc. Strangely, it whined about oldharmony.dll missing, yet it started and played with seemingly no issues. Well, I added that dll file just to be sure.

Tyrant God Saga and Patch
https://mega.nz/file/piBi2BbQ#J3ypLii2Yh5anu16xzSIBZHRtAUJOGYvtb9SIIEHy7w
** These are actually 2 separate games, Tyrant God Saga along with Patch. Complicating things further, there are 2 Tyrant God Saga games. Since you already have Altered Perception, here's the other one, Tyrant God Saga - Evening Synthesis.

Shadows of Evil Wings of Time Deluxe v.4 (found 3.0 and 3.8)
https://mega.nz/file/kyhXmaoY#6IquLl0SU77A0sOUWi1qIr0DUt1hQmOW9kLeYAWK6Go
EDIT-- TheRpgMakerAddict already upped this here:https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/22883/?post=898879#post898879

Easy Quest Series
https://mega.nz/file/J7hxCZKR#19jUU_U5T89SSoa7SYSPyyBm6jboNLpimDhUlZyKxPc
** While searching for the other 3, I came across this: https://jayisgames.com/review/easyquest.php
They're not RPG Maker games, but I figured someone might want to check them out.
Well, here's the 4th one, Easy Quest 4, which is definitely not a remake. Also, I got a DirectShow Error shortly after the game started. Fixed it by setting compatibility mode to WinXP and to run in 256 colors. Don't know if this will work on anything more recent than Win 7 though. If you get the same error, consult this thread and try any of the fixes recommended and provided: https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/10204/

The Legend of Kuleh Creator's games
** That's actually The Legend of Kuleh where the game's creator was looking for a copy as he'd lost his, so he requested this...back in 2009.

New Requests

Skiz's Path
https://mega.nz/file/s7pDFRZA#-HGOeJhY3jmTDgdf9bnyDRVkuNOaGnziDe49z2Y4Jn8
** I've got Skiz's Path - Reborn. Where the title screen only says Skiz's Path. I don't know if this is what the original requester was looking for.

Pokémon: Evan's Adventure (Rpgmaker 95)
https://rmarchiv.de/games/2138
** This is only the demo that's resurfaced, still missing the full game.

Dragon Adventure (RPGMAKER VX)(Request)
https://mega.nz/file/tuZ3zTIY#oynpIX67j_wpkJIq_pEx82gK7u6WE0XuzSZdsv4KXv8

(NEW)Maia's rpgmaker games (originally hosted on fileplanet, fileplanet dissolved since 2014)

arMaiageddon V 1.1
https://mega.nz/file/M3IwnCaY#yN2qmjsXQgF5dhmH10RFExEBC7COH1BMWpOwPTXZbyM

Maia 2k3
http://www.mediafire.com/file/ta89r17x4z31qon/%28Maia2k3%29%28maia%29%28RM2k3%29.rar/file
** LordBlueRouge already upped this, but somehow missed adding it to his archive:

Maia 2k7
https://mega.nz/file/gygFzIbD#n3IZ1aev0kSddZrD8TrUCa3gTRgPeM6wVzOJTvXHTf4
** You guys are lucky, after 15 years the CD I burned this to still worked. Good thing I store all my old burned CDs in a dry cool place away from direct light.

Willa & Rott: An unnatural tale of a girl and her dog
https://mega.nz/file/lqgRzYrb#-aJSmESUaOsniE42xLoxBroFmEzL7nct2sinisgAJDo

World Crafters v.10.1
https://mega.nz/file/ZnBEGASK#BOfynHOxU50sH958tQdGtixeeg7Kvb6DEJ8z8moTNdA

So, now the only maia game that is still MIA is Maia 2K8.
Again, as promised, here's Bio Hazard RPG
https://mega.nz/file/R74yXZCT#OmPKZo_myTDt7eL0d_EmkuxA7QBoe2X45QNUi1g-JbU

I don't know if this is the game that was requested, but it IS BioHazard/Resident Evil and I've never come across another that had BioHazard as the name/title. I actually fixed this game for Mike years ago: https://web.archive.org/web/20170514093851/http://www.compmike19.com/id557.htm
...and apparently, I need to fix it again, lol. (we really have come full circle here with my return) Seems the copy on the WebArchive is the unfixed one.

Aaaannnnnd...it's fixed...sort of. I've added all the missing weee-ird RTP files (donjohnU.png for dungeon6.png?? Seriously?!) And it wasn't easy.
Renaming most of them wasn't that big of a deal, but some of them are apparently partially translated--and obscure--kanji. And while the old rmtools lets you copy & paste from it, the newer one does not. Which is a problem, because the old rmtools does not include the BattleCharSet & System2 folders in it's scan; guess which folders those weird kanji files are located? Yup. Fortunately, both rmtools work with Locale Emulator:https://xupefei.github.io/Locale-Emulator/
Without it, the files with kanji are displayed in rmtools as either gibberish or a capital letter followed by an accented e.

And, of course, I have no idea how to go about typing those kanji. So, my only hope was to use this website to try and create those kanji so I could copy & paste them: https://kanji.sljfaq.org/mr-old.html Which I did, after trying several other ideas first. Here are those files in case you ever need them for some other game:

BattleCharSet
man餘a.png, man餘b.png
man餡a.png, man餡b.png
man餝a.png, man餝b.png
man餞a.png, man餞b.png
man餤a.png, man餤b.png

woman餘a.png, woman餘b.png
woman餡a.png, woman餡b.png
woman餝a.png, woman餝b.png
woman餞a.png, woman餞b.png
woman餤a.png, woman餤b.png

System 2
system餡A.png, system餡B.png, system餡C.png
Only system餡C.png is included, but you can take the other two System 2 files and rename them yourself.
System2A = system餡A & System2B = system餡B

Also, here are the 2 missing sound files--not RTP, which were found in another game, Yume Nikki. And I had to get the old Japanese version, as the new Steam version has those sound files renamed with numbers.
ショット2.wav & 水1.wav

So, all this work put into restoring a game...that quite honestly is CRAP. Because it still needs to be bugfixed to be playable. You start in a building with a few rooms where you find a few items, including the key to unlock the door...and the door won't unlock. No matter what I tried. And since the game is in Spanish or Portuguese, I don't know what I'm supposed to do. And the font is messed up anyway; seems it needs a custom version of msgothic for it to display correctly.

Yeah, screw this at this point. If someone else wants to try to fix this, just know that while it loaded into RPG Maker Tsukuru 2003 engine, when I tried to TestPlay it from the editor, it froze my computer forcing a restart. Now maybe if I removed the edited RPG_RT.exe and renamed RPG_RT_original.exe to RPG_RT.exe than I could TestPlay it. But like I said, I've wasted enough time on what appears to be an incomplete and buggy demo of a Resident Evil RPG. So, yeah, have fun or whatever.

I have Wings of time, de luxe. As you said TheRpgmakerAddict, i don`t know the difference. I talked about the two games with similar names(4 and de luxe) with LordBlueRouge not long time ago so i think he have it too. But if somebody wants it just tell me.

Please, somebody can reup Shadows of Evil Wings of Time.
Also, so many games are lost because was uploaded in Megaupload.
this is the one I have, it's version 4, don't know if someone has the deluxe version (that is the one you can see on Youtube, I think) or the differences with this one!

author=IllusioMan
TheRpgmakerAddict, thank you very much. For real, i don't know the difference either, kenlan. I found a post of the game in Indiexpo and tried to find...
There are so many lost rpgmaker games...

For future reference, because it seems people wonder about this quite often--there were more posts like these--the difference between the 3.8/4.0 and Deluxe versions is that the 3.8/4.0 version was the old original which used midi files while the Deluxe version is the newer remake that uses mp3s and has 200+ more maps(!).
While the 4.0 version is complete, it's the Deluxe version you want to play.

Went through every post in this thread and I think I've collected every still unfulfilled request. I do have a few of these, but I need to check first. For now I'm just posting this index, of sorts, so that all of us can easily reference it.

If I missed any, let me know.
Oh and this list does not include "descriptions for games"
Those will go in a separate list.

a RMVX game during 2010, called "Easter Bunny Egg Maze" or something similar. It was an average pac-man styled game with about five or six levels, though the levels were pretty fun overall, having stuff like keys, traps, multiple rooms, etc. The first two levels were a hedgemaze and a town, I think. The protagonist looked like this, I remember that she was made with the old famitsu sprite generator. Instead of collecting dots, the player collected eggs (the ones from the default Iconset, though they were white or yellow). For the monsters/enemies, they were the ones from the RTP (The goblins and the skeleton, I think?), though the last level (an abandoned/haunted tower with two floors) had a recolored version of the RTP Ghost. There were videos on youtube about the game, though they may have been deleted. The developers also had a website called "Skydreamers" or "Sky Dreams"

a fantasy/adventure game. It started out with a cutscene involving some wizard guy doing magic stuff in what looked like a castle of sorts. There was some backstory provided about what was going on in the game.
After the cutscene, you start the game as a young girl living in a small village (I think she may have had blond hair). Your first couple of quests involve running errands for people like getting groceries for your Grandma and helping out a blacksmith find a bucket of water. I think you get a sword or weapon of sorts for helping out. There was this one part where you run into a group of village boys who tease you for wanting to be an adventurer. There are other areas to explore outside of the village like a meadow inhabited by snake enemies to the north-east of the village and I think there may have been a few ruins here and there. However, to progress further you have to enter into a cave opening at the North end of the map. I remember you get attacked by snake and bat enemies here. As far as music goes, I don't remember there being any music, just ambient noises like footsteps and talking for the village and singing birds for the meadow.

The game was made in rpg maker 2k or way before that. The screen is blue-colored (seems like the default setting) The start screen has the dragon ball opening music. The image was a dragon ball logo and some clouds iirc. The story is about the raditz saga. It starts off in the fight with piccolo in the tournament. You can control krillin, yamcha, tien, and chiaotzu in one party at some point. There is a battle where you control piccolo and fight gohan that turns into giant ape. You must use makankosappo spell to end the fight.
You need to climb a very long stair as goku to reach to the blue guy (i forgot the name) that lives with a monkey. Goku needs to play hide and seek with him before you can continue the story.

The Eternals(?) starred mainly 3 heroes, Balto, Kenshin, and Zelot (? not 100% sure about this one) who had a random ability transforming into other beasts or magic machines, sometimes with no control over it. That was the mechanic you explored in battle constantly kind of like a summoning ability. One of the antagonists was Zeno and im pretty sure he was an Eternal or something as you fought him a few times, and the RPG maker game used Raise Thy Sword from Soul Calibur when you did. im fairly certain it was RPG Maker 2003 based, but it was definitely either 2000 or 2003.

played about 10-15 years ago that I believe was made in RPGMaker. I can't remember the title but can remember some details of the game's presentation and plot:
- Medieval fantasy setting - PC is blonde-haired silent protagonist - Your first party member is named 'Bard' or 'Geoff', who has been evicted from his house and joins you on your adventure - this character also appears in the titlecard for the company/person that made the game - First part of the game takes place in the swamps to the west; endgame takes place in the northern part of the starting town - PC is searching for 'red thread' or 'red yarn', which is an object of some power - The mayor of town turns out to have been in possession of the red yarn all along, this character is the final boss - There's a red skeleton character that I'm pretty sure was named 'Red Skelton', like the actor - Fairly stock-looking RPG menus and battle system/mechanics

The only descriptive details that the video uploader could give about the game was:
"The only character dynamic I remember was the game starting in your mother's house and you talked with her and she wished you luck like in pokemon. As well as a shopkeeper which gave me bad vibes as a kid. Halfway through the game it does a switch up and gets all messed up as well. Kind of like those crappy creepypasta games nowadays. That's all I really remember sadly. The PC me and my sister used was lost in a hurricane in 2008 so I haven't been able to play the game since."

There's another RPG Maker game im trying to find and this time I'm actually not sure if it was 2k or 2k3 (because it was gimmicky and didn't use any RPG battles). It was a zombie themed game with a top down perspective and used mostly MS Paint or pixel drawn assets very crudely. You were some dude with a chainsaw I think who ran into zombies with "collision" checking in order to kill them, and I think the writing was the worst I had ever seen. The MIDIs used were mostly those cheap MIDI covers of famous rock songs at the time like Green Day and Three Doors Down and all that stuff. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

game was focused on two things: Being completely troll in design and having monster girls as enemies and bosses. The first dungeon displayed, I believe, had a mimic monster girl as the boss. The starting area contained your sister, which I believed would try to kill you later in the game. You could attack overworld NPCs, and they were usually vastly more powerful in combat than what they'd seem capable of. the final boss was an angel monster girl, I believe. The game itself was very well made, it had beautiful sprites, but the world itself was a bit lacking.

Okay, this is going to be a very, very long shot if not impossible but here it goes. I'm looking for a game that I forgot the title, I remember parts of the story pretty well and everything, here's what I remember;
-Made around 2010-2014? -It was only on deviantART at the time, no where else. Tried searching there but the search is absolutely useless and only pulled fanart -It was an adventure game being developed, and the developer was updating it just as they thought up stuff to throw in -The main protag was a gothish/emoish girl with short black hair. she was often sarcastic with lots of cursing. she had black and white striped arm warmers and i think shorts
-crude humor -art style kinda like panty and stocking -it was not at the time listed anywhere else but the dev's deviantart journal. they also were not the artist and it was another user doing the art.
-game starts off with the protag falling, hinting that this is a dream and they fall into an entirely different world from their own -had some darker themes like mental illness, depression, self harm, etc, but it wasn't overbearing
-around chapter 5th or 6th, the protag is back in highschool and comments how weird that is because she has already graduated and you pretty much run around solving a couple of characters problems at the time to progress the story -i vaguely remember something about a hospital being one of the chapters, but not horror type. there was a bad guy and stuff, but can't remember them too well. the end of the hospital had a chase i think.
-protag had a pretty rough homelife and wasnt on good terms with her father, and there was hints of alcoholism -title had the protag's name at the start, so it was something like ''character crazy adventure'' or ''character bizarre dream'', something of that sort.

Orb of Seraphim", or some variation of that. I seem to recall Seraphim being misspelled, like "Serafim" or something? It's an RMXP game that was posted on one of those dead late 2000's forums, maybe RPG RPG Revolution or something similar.

So it's very simple pixel style, black and orange palette. You're hiding from a killer and you find your dead parents(?) And every time he catches you it loops, the killer was borderline a stick figure but when you discover the bodies it's super detailed and like digital art, I think you crack open a wardrobe or something and see part of them

it's called Moonlight, but my friend google, gives me no good answer. Its was made in RPG maker 2k or 2k3. The Main menu is White with a green leaf in the middle. The Story begin with you on a spaceship that crashes on a planet´in medieval time. It was an action RPG. I remember a cat with the name of niyu or so. It has even a Final Fantasy reference with red and black mage.

what rm2k game was it that had this part with an elevator with the hero going up to fight the big boss demon and about the 3rd floor,a demon with a clipboard gets on mumbling to himself rides up to about floor 6 and gets off, leaving the hero to reply "What the hell?" I have it somewhere but for the life of me,I can't remember..I do remember the elevator music was from an old game show or dating? Laughed silly over that one!

an RM2k demo that I had years ago but I don't remember the name. I believe it was on a site that had shut down but had a placeholder of a tonberry saying that it would return one day but I don't think it did. Anyway, here's the vague description: I think it had a CBS and CMS, it was about school-aged characters, I think early on they went to a bowling alley/roller rink or something where the story kicked off, I think the character sprites used the 'tall' style like Chrono Trigger, and it featured midis of Jamiroquai – Virtual Insanity and Coldplay - Trouble, among others I can't think of at the moment.
Another, much more vague description: it used Terranigma graphics for the main character and shrunk him down on the overworld along with the other characters Chrono Trigger style. Probably had a CBS of some kind as well.

an english language game. There is this doll girl who goes to the workshop or something amd talks with her friend(?) Friedrich. She goes through surreal dreamscapes to find out what her deal is. I believe at the end she has the choice to go into a room or not, amd that determines the endings. What stuck with me most was that the art, tiles, and sprites were made for the game. The dreamscapes had all different textures and stuff. As for the creator, i remembered they were doing some kind of romantic visual novel with a pumpkin girl cleaning up a magical school. name of the author. Gabicho.

an old RPG Maker 2000 game. It was complete but done in mostly RTP only. Super amateur game with time travel. At one point you go back to the prehistoric age and get chased by a T-Rex. One of the only things I remember about it is one of the villains. I think he was named Koru. I think he was just some Kefka-like guy who wasn't a bad guy until the heroes accidentally drop the time key in front of him and he starts being able to time travel, so he decides to do evil stuff with it and become one of the final bosses. This happens towards the end of the game. I remember he travels to the future with his medieval henchmen who laughably get shot when they try to use their swords against the modern day soldiers.

an rpg maker game (it was made in 2k or 2k3 I think), it may have had Crimson in its name but I'm only about 50% sure. The features I remember, it had a bit of voice acting in place of the victory fanfare, I remember, "go for the gold" very distinctly, it was said by a character who I think died or left the party quite early. It also had a friendship (romance?) system where you took party members to dinner. Sorry its not a lot to go on.

https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/22883/?post=926201#post926201
an RPG Maker 2000 game starring the FF6 Chocobo sprite that did not make use of the default battle system, or indeed any battle system at all. It was an open world collectathon where you navigated between a variety of worlds, avoiding moving obstacles that would damage or kill you, to find green crystals that were the equivalent stand-in for Power Stars in Mario 64 which were referred to as "Lucky Chards." Maybe it was a misspelling of "shard" or maybe it was an intentional nod to the vegetables, who knows.
It is not any of the Chocobo Panic titles, which are a maze game series ala Pac-Man.
I had written it off as a "Gamingw.net" game in my mind these past decades, but I can't find so much as a trace of it, so I think it may not be the case, after all.

https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/22883/?post=930236#post930236
Its icon was of a stylized, bright red bow. The beginning of the game is the main character, a small girl, in her room. Something happens, and she's transported to a grim, desolate canyon. She's either accompanied by her stuffed animal as a party member, or simply carries it around. In this canyon, she meets a young boy who is entirely invisible. I remember the RPG mechanics themselves quite well, as they were incredibly stressful. You had 1 single attack that was consistent, with very low accuracy, and all other attacks were made by using items you found on the ground, or in various locations. The enemies were not... usual RPG enemies, but I can't remember what was so unusual about them. Either way, the main difficulty of the game was rationing your scarce resources.
After the canyon, the invisible boy is left behind somehow, and the main character moves onto a grassland. The grass is tall and unnaturally spiky, in fact, due to the main character's lack of footwear, she takes damage just by moving, and significant portions of the area are set up like a maze. At some point, her stuffed animal takes critical damage, and must be repaired in a graphic mini-game. This area also introduces another child. The main character either has to carry her stuffed animal, the other child, or both at some point.
The next area is a poisonous swamp. After struggling through the swamp for a while, the main character meets a mermaid, or at least some kind of child crossed with an aquatic animal. The demo either ends as you meet this child, or continues until the end of the swamp area, where the kid helps you by swimming across gaps you cannot. The game's art was also very good. It was all hand-made, no vanilla assets that I could tell. I also do not recall if it was an RPG maker game or not, please tell me if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

pretty sure was for rm2k since it had a front view battle system, I don't think it was 95 but it is possible.
All I remember was it was short and the small world map was split in two, you reached the second half by going through a forest/cave/crypt? and ended up across the river/ocean? I'm not completely sure. I do kind of remember the layout of the map so I drew a picture but it could be wrong and I'm worried I'm mixing up two games.

I want to reply to this, because I found out through the site's Discord (more specifically, OldPat), that the song in question was a cut of Lindsey Sterling's "Spontaneous Me". I don't know/remember if I posted this finding earlier, so I apologize for allowing this to hang around.

It's true that 2K3 had a side-view system by default. But, they never mentioned 2K3. What they did mention was 2K or 95. Though, if your comment is meant to err more on 2K being the engine it was made it, I would tend to agree.
HOLY CRAP! Sorry for e-mailing you and messaging you so many times SegNin, you are the hero we don't deserve!

Went through krum110487's entire long list of missing RMN games, where a lot of them were hosted on Dropbox for some silly reason.
And here are the fruits of my labor.

...

Thank you!

As for: The Short-Lived Adventure of Wizerd
I think I found the original author and I contacted them as well as anyone who I think may have played it, so we will see if they get back to me. I will let you know!

Yeah, when I see a dropbox link, it is almost always dead.

I am working my way through all of these links!

I do have these:
Adventures of MISTER BIG T 3 - Sexy Mix (Mister Big T) (RM2K) (2013)
Power Trip (Solosoft) (RM2K) (2003)
Prelude of Identity (MrMoo) (RMVX) (2012)
Ninja Adventures 1 (MasterDarkNinja) (RM2K3) (2004)
Under (The Man) (RMXP) (2008)
Final Fantasy 1 - Remake (Max Berger) (RM2K3) (2005)
Wow! Welcome back SegNin! I think the Christmas comparison another made is apt. I had lost hope of you returning, so this is really a Christmas miracle!
