Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

Oh, the plum coke idea is now scrapped.
Originally, the plan was to have this Plum Coke item exist and if the player were to accidentally pick it up and drink it, it would poison a party member.
I didn't like the idea in the end and decided to get rid of it. Unfortunately, I forgot to cut out the chit-chat of that from V1.00-V1.03, however it has since been cut out of V1.04.
4 flavors seems at though, you're on track!

I failed to tell you, that I am in fact, playing the 1.04 version(or at least the 1.04 version you can download from this game's page).

On a side-note, I hope the reward for finding all seven(it's seven, right?) flavours will be a good one. Just don't tell me. But I don't need to tell *YOU* that, now do I? ;)
I think I'm stopping to play now since it is getting a bit boring - because of all the random encounter and the hard boss fights(probably because my equipment is too low because I never have enough money to buy everything and I don't like farming).

I'm in that ice village temple to get the herbs but that 4 water boss mobs are too much...
You must be playing from an early version... If you were to be playing from V1.02-V1.04, I made sure you don't need to farm for anything. The money gains are high and the monsters are much easier in the snowish area.

Firstly, I *SPECIFICALLY* remember downloading the 1.04 version(I downloaded the 1.03 before, but switched when you updated the game). The document titled ´´version info´´ even confirms the version I'm using as being 1.04(sorry if that was a tad bit confusing)!

Secondly, so far(up to the snowy area left of SnowDown Town), the money drops never exceed 280 for most of the enemies, and 600 for killing the duo of Disgice. And the exp drops are almost always 600-1800(1800 after killing the Disgice duo in the ruins).

And lastly, monsters in the snowy area usually take 1-2 hits as Falk, and often 2 as Nya, and damn near always one as Cindy with her fire spells. Then I finish off a weakened foe with Arc. The enemies in the ruins are a tad bit more difficult.
I really shouldn't have sold my fire-weapons... -_-'
I'm totally stuck at the BoP Forest... Am I supposed to just keep trying random color sequences in the area Yellow was blocking off? Tried the order I met them, tried the sequences of transformation from other rooms, couldn't find any sort of clue. Any sort of hint would be wonderful, thanks.
Edit : BYGR
Random it was.
wasn't random. try backreading in the comments
Yes, I've been answering the question many times :P
But that's okay, I'm glad you've figured it out (even if it was because of trial and error)

Went back a number of pages, did a site search for BoP Forest, etc.
Though, if it's been asked several times, a more obvious hint might be needed, if there is one.

No. I downloaded this not long ago and I think it was 1.03 according to the version.txt... and I downloaded 1.04 a few days ago.

I'm pretty sure my level is too low. I'm only level 15/16 at the moment. In games with visible encounters I usually(if they respawn) try to kill every enemy 1 time(and in most games at the end it still needs a bit more farming). In games with random encounters... cause it is random I don't know how much to fight until I get to a boss and it is too hard. In the town I walk around a lot. In areas with mobs - especially if there is a puzzle - I try to minimize step count cause random encounters are annoying... especially if you are doing a puzzle like boulders and stuff. This could have kept my level a bit low.

Also a problem is the lack of healers. I prefer at least 1 healer class in the group that can heal everyone with 1 skill by default... not the items. Makes it much easier to just spam 1 in the normal random encounters(nobdody wants to select skills every time... gets too boring and you just want to do this battles fast) and then heal up after the battle.

That sounds hard... I think I still have fire weapons. And Nya has a fire skill - only skill I bought back in Tyrone at the skill teacher. That's also a problem of the game: The skill tree where you could chose the wrong skills(and later need other skills) and that buyable skills - if you are not buying everything the first time you visit(cause not enough money) and need a specific skill later but can't buy it then.

My Nya is doing 1000 damage at 1 hit with her skill doing 2 hits every turn usually finishing most mobs fast(and I wished I could split her 2 hits on different enemies). Others are weak. Arc of course weakest. Only 1 hit. Falk a bit stronger 2 hits every turn. Cindy's fire skills are not that strong... maybe I better should have put all the points in the first fire skill instead not 3 then the next 3... but still good. 2nd strongest after Nya.

A problem is that the chars with the lowest amount of SP have the skills with the highest cost... I bought that hat item for Nya which fixes this a bit... but unfortunately can't buy this for Falk(fortunately not using that earth skills that much) and Arc(his skills are nice sometimes). Cindy really does not need it. Tons of SP lol.

But yeah... the normal trash mobs random encounters are a pain... makes you try to avoid them which is why my level probably is even more low.
You said you used Nya to finish mobs fast; if that's the case, then levelling shouldn't be a problem at all. The EXP gain is high and so is the money gain.
If you would like, you could send over you save file and I could beat the boss with your characters without changing anything. I'll use your skills and items.
(all branches of the skill tree are possible, though some might be harder than others; also there's a lot of water to be used for healing).
Yeah... she is killing the mobs fast. Problem is she can only kill 1 and then next round the next enemy. It takes a few rounds... especially since there are 4 mobs most of the time(would have been better if this was not that often). They have a lot of rounds to do damage... and I don't have a healer(only Arc can heal himself and Angel is in the other group).

Makes me need a lot of heal items if I can't kill them fast enough. I might try again myself later or tomorrow before considering uploading my safe file. That reflect skills of the boss seemed a bit confusing... does magical reflect reflect every skill attack? (skill = magic) or only the ones where it says "magical damage" in the description? Also the bosses have lots of hp.

So I should just attack the bosses with Nya and let all the others heal(cause you need to heal a lot and 1 person healing is not enough)?
@RiketzKarlom
Did you really look back a number of pages? Because a huge clue was left on the previous page (page 12) :P

@Luthan
A technique is to use the Green healing light. You could beat up mobs and level up fast (and even get some money at it) and then heal for free again. It won't/shouldn't take that long.
As for the boss, if a Shamrock were to use magical reflect, you can't use magical skills against it (well, you can, but you'd get hurt for doing so). It is easy to differentiate between physical damage and magical damage, usually going by the description of the move or if you don't see the character running up to the enemy and attacking, it is magical. If you don't want to deal with the reflects, the item shop sells reflect smashers which remove them.
Nya is ideal for being used to attack, but I'd also use Falk to help and Arc if he's got nothing else to do. If you have purchased Fairy Circle for Cindy, it makes things even easier, but it's not necessary.

Okay. I forgot about that item you mentioned. Went back to the store and bought some and I bought a few of the better health recovery pods that heal 900. I also had a few tablets and 1 level egg I forgot to use. Used them now and leveled up even more.

Could it be the boss is immune to fire? I leveled everything on fire which helped a lot at the other normal mobs but here it is nothelping... even after without their reflecti I'm doing no damage with fire skills. Sucks. Then I have to use normal attacks which takes longer.

Edit: Yeah it seems he is immune to fire... that's what I didn't pay attentin to all the time. Thought it was of the reflects. I'm doing good damage now with other skills but I think I still need a few more tries until I can beat them... got a bit unlucky and 3 of them used "bubble trouble" in a row which does too many damage to my chars.
Dude, they're SEA dragons... use Shock instead, also may I ask if you focused Falk's skill tree to his earth skills only? Coz the other tree is more helpful earlier in the game. Lastly, what version were you playing again? Coz I'm pretty sure any version above 1.00 has a better gold drop rate so money shouldn't be an issue.
I beat them now. Yeah SEA... but they are outside the water the time they are attacking and the area is still cold. They still should be vulnerable to fire. I had only 1 skill point in shock and only 1 at Falks other tree(to unlock the 1st skill). All the other stuff in earth.

Also shock did not do much. Normal attack was better... I had the book that paralyzed sometimes. Managed it with only getting 1 char KOed(and was able to heal him up again). Had to use 4 or 5 of the health recovery pod plus items.

I will do the next boss the same: Clear everything up to the boss then check if I used all the items I found on the way(level up eggs) and buy a ton of health items with the money I made cause it seems that how it is intended. Buying everything the first time you are in the village and then moving in the boss is not enough since I need also the money I make on the first way clearing the dungeon around the boss.

Had 11k now after the boss cause it dropped 6k and I still had a bit left... but back down ad 3k cause I bought all the skills back at the academy. I hope there won't be any new shops with items soon.
you didn't buy Falk's fang strike back at tyrone didn't you? that stuff's actually pretty helpful till end game, also: investing on Falk's right skilltree until getting at least team cannon to lvl 2 will be VERY helpful, the only good thing (for me) on his earth skill tree is earth strike on lvl 4 or max and earthquake since it induces paralyze on all enemies.
I only bought 1 skill for Nya(eruptive claw or something like that with fire attack) cause of low money at the first visit(lots of armor and other stuff to buy and then tons of skills). And I wanted to unlock all the earth skills first(not max only unlock until level 1 of the lowest in the tree) and then going to the right tree... thought the self attack buff for him was enough if others often use their skills which should do enough damage by themselves and not need such a buff.

The only time I bought everything at a skill merchant was with tash(and her skills are pretty strong but unfortunately costing a lot and she has low SP and is in the other group... I hope that hat item that reduces SP cost is possible for her too later).

At 2nd visit now after I beat the boss I bought all the skills in Tyrone cause I had enough money from the boss.

I will try to level up the right skill tree of Falk more now(if it had a group level up buff I would have went there from the beginning but they are only buffing 1 char per skill use aren't they? or is the lowest one in the tree buffing the whole group? - don't want to buff all the time with Falk).
yep the last one buffs the entire party. Also about the skills you can buy for tash at arrowseye, buy the sleep-inducing and silence-inducing arrow skills - those will be very useful on future boss battles.
Okay. Yeah Tash I bought all the skills. Last buff of the right skilltree at Falk the name of the skill "team cannon" suggests it affects the whole party but the description is the same as the other skill only + (level 2) added and it still says "chargs AN ally" so that's why I thought it would only affect 1 char(and be a bit stronger in the effect). If I had known it affected the whole party I would have leveled up there first.
