Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

@StrangerByNight
Go to the northern entrance of the MooMoo Chick Farm and you'll see a cat that needs saving.
Aaaaaand this about does it, this is my stats during my second run of Orbs of Fate, playing Ver. 1.03

The stats are understandable since this version is easier than the earliest ne? XD
(Quest completion still 95% though - most presumably because of the Coke bug right?)

Congratulations Kaze!
I shall add your better time to the Hall of Fame.
But the glitch of only getting 95% is not caused by the coke dream, but caused by The Kit=Kat Chunky quest. ... I forgot to add a variable, but since you've completed all 13 quests, it's already proof that you've achieved 100% (again).
Also, 15 hours completion is a huuuge improvement! :)
Thanks again for making such an awesome game as this Sir Luster! XD Well since this is my second run I know my way around the game ahaha, and this time I didn't run around the entire place looking for POW academy :P I hope everyone else who's currently playing Lunar Wish is enjoying it the way I did, and hopefully other people will be able to finish the game as well with satisfaction. Really, really great job with the game!
The bosses really take a huge (kind of unreasonable, IMO) hike in difficulty toward the end of the game. I almost ragequit after the fight for the Purple Orb, and now the very next fight against Mafia has me almost doing the same.
Lustermx, do you think you could possibly release a new version that has better grammar? Bad grammar is understandable if english isn't your first language, but I'm pretty sure it IS your first language. I'm not highly disturbed by the bad grammar, only mildly annoyed, but still. Naturally, you don't HAVE to if you don't want to, but I'd appreciate it if you could.

Also, is there a difference between the version 1.03 from from 4/27/2013 and the version 1.03 from 5/06/2013?
@rebel1223
I agree, Mafia is hard. She was supposed to be easy, but I forgot to weaken her a bit before uploading. I have, however managed to beat her as she is so it is possible, but in the future... She'll be much weaker.

@Spike
I know there are grammar mistakes here and there, but I know it's not overwhelmingly cluttered with them! Also, please bear in mind that I had a time limit to release the game for the RSW and I since haven't had the time to go through and check the few grammar errors.
And no, there is no difference between the different 1.03 Versions.

There are more than just ''a few here and there'', but alright. 'Least I asked. And I even got a reply!

Hopefully you'll find the time, one day...

::

So far, I have encountered grammatical errors in quite a lot of sentence up to the first boss(who I can't for the love Sheogorath kill).
Mafia's group of three right? Just hit mafia with one of em' silencing arrows from Tash, that usually does the trick and/or use a weapon with sleep properties or freezing properties to render any of her two allies immobile for a few turns.
i dont want to sound stupid, but can i have some help haha. I just can't figure out how to do this part...

You have to line up the two boulders ;)

To save you the trouble in that room, I'll tell you how:

Push the left boulder up one space. Then push the right boulder left, up, left,
left, left, up, and left. That should do it.

My bad. If you move the left boulder up first, you can't solve the puzzle, so don't. Do it afterwards.
When I encountered Mafia and Feena, an error appeared, saying something along the lines of ''missing actor'' with the number 16 or 18, I think. I didn't take a picture, and now I don't remember. So, was Feena supposed to say something then?
I am hating the puzzles in the cave next to Sabers house. Hate!

They're not that hard, but yes: Luster should possibly give a bit more specific hints in the tutorial, or dedicate tiles which would indicate where should the boulders be placed to. Basically, all you need to do is to place each two boulders of the same colour next to each other and that will cause a gate of corresponding colour to 'open'.
The worst part of the puzzles is that random battles still occur while you're walking around trying to solve them.
I am stuck here

Could I have a hint on what to do next ?
merchant42 press the a key on your keyboard so you will be able to jump where is the arrow tile.
You know, I really hate to have to constantly update, but...

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate - V. 1:04

Start: 2008
Finished: April 27th 2013
Updated to V1.04: May 21st 2013

1.04 Updates:
*General improvements
*Cleaned up Kestrel's gun animations (Her guns also appear to be correctly positioned now)
*Fixed a bug which caused 95% to be the 100% side completions. (Previously, you could not achieve 100%, only 95% - This is now fixed)
*Cleaned up most grammar and typo errors. This is what this release mainly focuses on.

EDIT: If you are using 1.03 or 1.02, there is not much reason to update, except if you can't stand some of the grammar in there :P
Just to make sure, you'll be able to play the new update using older saves without anything bad, like bugs, happen?
