What are you thinking about right now?

We didn’t get any kids coming to the door for this year for Halloween, unfortunately, fourth year in a row now... But we did get a whole of lot of idiots lighting off fireworks until around 1 A.M.! That was real nice to try and sleep through, lol.

Oh well...I guess I’ll be eating all of these miniature Mars and Snickers bars on my own now. You kids could have had some of them – but nooo...!

Also – damn it, Houston! Now I owe some people some money because of your Game 7 antics, ugh.

Rezident Evil: It Is Escape Review

I’m sure I meant to set those QTEs not to kill the player, but I think I might just take them out.

Regarding the quick-time events, I actually do like Superstroke’s idea about having an infinite amount of time to press the right key, as the only real serious one that gave me any trouble was the one towards the end of the game where Jill and Tom are taking the rocket into space. That one you have to be really, really precise and fast in order to not die, so it would probably be better to either just have an infinite amount of time to press the key or just extend the amount of time that you get in order to clear it.

This started as parody of early 2000s fan games (complete with Linkin Park midis); but at some point, I just decided to make it a dark fever dream. Not for any particular reason.

Hahaha, I could never imagine or do something like that myself where I took one of my own projects and just turned into an absolute clusterf*ck just for shits and giggles like you did. I kinda thought for a little while there, while playing the game, that you were maybe just tired of making a Resident Evil fangame so you decided to just go all nuclear on it and get it out of the way and move on to something else, but now I know you just decided to do it just because, lol. Nicely done. :)

You really hated that clock puzzle. Any suggestions?

Well...if it was up to me, I would have either just cut out that combination puzzle or tried something else instead…like maybe having three different rooms in the vicinity that you have to go into first and fight a bunch of strange clock-like creatures that have a number placed on each of them that you have to defeat and piece them all together and use that information in order to get pass the door, or something like that, maybe.

Btw, the guy insulting the player is meant to be some random psycho (there are many in this game's world), not me! I hope you didn't think it was me.

Nah, I always thought that all of those notes that were all scattered around were either written by Tom Gums, Matt Leblanc or some unknown douchebag that you were probably meant to meet or take on sometime towards the end of the game that had something to do with it. I never thought that it actually might have been you, twentyfour24, lol.

I might actually try to make a "serious" RE fan game. A little homage to late 90s survival horror...

Yeah, you really should considering doing that. You definitely have a knack for creating some pretty unsettling things, so I would love to see you take a stab at either making an original horror game or maybe actually do try making a Resident Evil fangame for reals this time. Either way, I’m sold.

I'd say yes for the three, but three sort of implies average.
No matter if you will like this game or not, it's definitely not an average experience.

Yeah, I was originally somewhat close in giving this game a 3.5 out of 5 score initially, but the last hour where the game just dips into absolute lunacy and madness really started to just drain on me around that time. I mean, yeah, there were other notable reasons too that I felt, but I ultimately ended up giving it a 3 for those said reasons.

Happy Dodgers-Beat-The-Astros Day!

Yes, please! I have money riding on this.

EDIT: (Damn it.)

Tales from Rotten, Moonless Nights

Oh, okay, now it all makes sense! I do vaguely remember seeing that mentioned on the front page some time back, but I guess I must have just brushed through it and not remembered it until you just brought it up just now. Thanks, unity. ^^

Happy Orange & Black Day!

Tales from Rotten, Moonless Nights

Huh, I didn’t even notice this until just right now, actually. Since when was there a Halloween Chain Game Event on here as of recently? Unless it was just between you guys that decided to do this, because I doubt this was made for the Revive The Dead 2 Event (unless it was).

Either way – this looks pretty fun and pretty solid to boot! I always enjoy playing these types of community games on here, so I’m definitely looking forward to playing this in the future.

Pocket Quest!

I thought it used to be the French that always made the best kind of stuff in RPG Maker, or has that now changed over the years? Lol.

But, yeah, I think I mentioned it in my review as well, but the music in this game could have been so much better utilized by either using better quality MIDI’s or just straight up using MP3’s instead, considering how everything else here is of such high quality and standards that it kinda comes off as a bit jarring to listen to. Well…at least the battle and boss themes change up with every single new board that you go to, so at least that helps a bit on the ears.

RMN v4.3 Bugs

So, apparently, I can’t seem to re-subscribe to a game that I deleted my subscription for a long time ago, but I remember that you could do so before. So am I going crazy or is this just a glitch?

They brought back Crystal Pepsi, iirc

Yeah, they brought it back briefly here for a little while during the summer, but every time I’d go to the store to get one they were all sold out. Apparently they had no limit of how much one person could buy at one time, so one family would end up buying, like, 20 cases of those 12 packs and the cashiers and management would say nothing about it. *sigh* Oh well, I should probably stay away from that stuff, anyway.

McDonald's is having a Monopoly event again. Whenever I drive by the sign, I say, "Monopolo!"

Do you at least punch the Monopoly man, or try to throw something at him, as you drive by? I’ve been thinking about doing that in the future, lol.

Also, what the hell – the Houston Astros managed to avoid the collapse and win Game 7 last night!? I was kinda thinking that the Yankees had all the momentum going for them and that they would take it in the end, even though that they lost Game 6 to Houston - but I am impressed. Much rather see Houston in the World Series than the Yankees, anyway.

Does anyone Remember RpgRpgRevolution? (Remembering RRR)

Yeah, I used to be a member on RRR for a little while back in the days, but I eventually stopped going there all together because the site traffic there was quite low compared to sites like RMN and RPG Maker Web. And, like Sated mentioned earlier, the front page of the site was a complete mess.

It’s a shame, because some of the users on there were pretty cool people. And the profile page customization page was pretty neat. I even liked how you could upgrade in status after a certain amount of posts made or so. There was even a leaderboard for the most amount of posts made in a day that you could view at any time that you wished. It was like trying to be like RMN in some ways, but it was hard for them to compete against the better functionally – and wider traffic levels – of a place like RMN or an RPG Maker Web.
