Spread the Love - Review Jam
Yeah, but even with favorable odds like that I’ll probably still end up losing. It’s fate, I tell you.
But thanks for trying to cheer me up a bit, though.

Remakes Galore!
author=Sailerius
I prefer companies to invest their money and creative energy in making something new.
* Most companies reaction to that statement:
I would also like more companies to make something fresh, innovative and new as well too, but we all know that’s not gonna happen when there’s certain financial uncertainly involved with that and that too many individuals at the top want something done for quick and cheap and to be released as fast as humanly possible, so, yeah…”hope you like your remakes!” :D
To be fair, I actually don’t mind the Secret Of Mana remake. It’s been over twenty years or so since the original game was released, and it may be time for a fresh coat of paint for it for a new generation of gamers. I actually like the new look the more that I look at it, and the voice acting isn't too bad from what I've heard thus far. I'll be willing to give this a chance when it comes out if I can.

Whaddya talkin' about there, Red_Nova? It's already a masterpiece! You can't just simply remake a masterpiece.

Going on hiatus
author=SgtMettool
I've been on this site for 4 years now and whatever supposed drama keeps causing these things seems to be implied at best.
Like, I seriously don't see it at all.
Yeah, I’m more in the same kind of mindset as you, SgtMettool. Unless this type of stuff has been happening outside of RMN on Discord or wherever else, I just don’t simply see all this drama like Zeigfried_McBacon’s been talking about on here since probably the old days of RMN’s past. If anything, RMN has never been better, actually! And this may be because I don’t visit or post on RMN like I used to, or hang out on places like Discord or anything like that, but everything here seems pretty tame, from what I’ve seen.
And this whole thing about everything going down in a downward spiral is simply nonsense. Yeah, sure, RMN does feel like it’s going through a bit of a dryspell lately in regards to traffic or any noteworthy projects or topics on here lately, but I’m imagining that’s because most people around here have been busy throughout the summer working on their own projects, playing games, or doing other things on the side throughout the course. It happens from time to time. But RMN still seems pretty active if you look around the latest post section and stuff from what I’ve seen.
Anyways, maybe LockeZ is right; maybe you do need a bit of a break from here for at least a little while. If it’s any consolation, I always thought that you were a pretty good member on here overall, as I never had any personal problems with you throughout the time.
Either way, take care and enjoy your break. We’ll see you when you’re ready to come back to us, okay? :)
What is WAR even GOOD FOR?
Making certain individuals rich while others die and suffer the consequences for their actions.
Either that or it’s just some giant d*ck measuring contest.

I used to be excited. But then life threw a curveball at me that I simply couldn’t avoid...
Seriously, I would have usually participated in this, but this summer I’ve been real busy as of late so I couldn’t do it this time around. Besides, I never win any of the raffles for any of the steam games here unless the odds are like 100 - 1 like it was for Reviewrim that one time I DID manage to win anything, lol.
So the lesson for me here is that unless the odds are high as shit to win, don't bother.

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II
I’m sure glad I got all those writing achievements when I first did, because at this rate it doesn’t look like things will change much anytime soon, so embrace the additional exposure there, bud. Embrace it.
And, yeah, some people just like to complain just for the sake of complaining, so don’t worry about it too much. Just get this game done whenever you can and just tell your fans in the meantime to hold their horses for a little bit until you get it done. Besides, the longer this game takes the better the overall game will be when it gets done – so patience's, people!
@ Corfaisus – Lol. This is probably why not saying a whole lot about your game in the first place and hiding it beneath the shadows can sometimes be a good thing. Less pressure on yourself and no meaningful expatiations as you just coast along through the ride.

What are YOU even good for?

Convince me that you would be a valuable asset to our company.

Lemme just say this, bossman:
If you want an employee who doesn’t show up to work very often and likes taking other people’s office supplies and ideas – THEN I AM YOUR MAN!

You could always make that dream a reality, Lucy_Fox. Just slip a copy of it in the store and then just go hide behind something in the meantime and see if anybody picks it up...or until somebody else comes along and picks it up and then says something like, “Hey, this ain’t no Fable!” and then proceeds to toss it on the ground.
…And then you can go beat the shit out of that person. :)

Final Title Scren

I'm going to have to agree with Addit on this one.
Well, glad to know that I’m not the only one here who doesn’t like the new look. Yay for indifference! :D
But, yeah, you’re right, UPRC; you can’t please everybody in the world. If you think the new title page looks great and fits in with what’s going on with the underlying theme and stuff and everyone else here besides Liberty and I seem to like it, then all the power to you. Besides, it’s just a title screen. You end up staring at it for sixteen seconds anyway before hitting the new game / continue option, so it really isn’t a big deal to get all worked up over, as I’m still gonna play it regardless of what you do because I enjoyed the first game so much.
@ Corfaisus - Isn’t the font more along the lines of what they used in something like Final Fantasy 8?
Either way, I think it looks fine just the way it is.
Final Title Scren
I dunno, I kinda like the original title screen a lot more than this new one you got here now. I mean, the original title screen (this one) looked absolutely fantastic and not only did it have the proper windowskin to go along with it as well but it also had the same matching logo and font patterns of what you would usually see in a Final Fantasy game that made it look absolutely professional upon viewing it, but the music that also accompanied with it as well was great, and it totally set you up quite nicely for the tone of the adventure ahead. This one, however, well…it kind of feels like I’m playing something completely different due to everything that’s going on with it, especially with the music (no offence to the composer behind the track), because when I hear a track like that in action it doesn’t scream to me that I’m playing a Final Fantasy fangame whilst listening to it, it sounds more like something that I would probably hear in a horror / suspense game more than anything.
But I guess if there’s one thing that I like about this new title screen over the old one is probably that finger icon and how it animates and scrolls up and down along with the cursor. It looks neat. That I like.
