It seems I can't review Outlaw City because random bugs keep making me lose my progress. The RMW Chain Game it is.


Fixed this, was a bug where the poison effect in "Very Easy" mode didn't work (it uses a lower poison tick value on the various difficulties.)

Don't expect you to play or review it after an experience like that, but I also don't leave any known bugs live in my work! Thanks.

Confirmed and was able to repeat.

A fixed version was uploaded and is now the primary download, patch notes:
- Fixed bug where you crash if Poisoned in "Very Easy" mode (previous saves will carry over.)

Just started to play game in the sewers and after battle with monsters error occured...

I'm unable to get this happen, does it happen ever time for you or did it just happen once?
I got this once and I'm able to replicate it. It's when I'm fighting in the sewers and Sahra attacks using the only Super ability she has. I'm not sure what it's called.

BTW, I'm reviewing this for the Skyrim review event if you wanted to know :)

Edit: It actually happens randomly when you're attacking monsters in the first sewer, especially the squid. Randomly and frequently.

I think I found the probably cause of this - if you change the difficulty to Easy or Very Easy it actually sets it to the wrong number (one difficulty level easier, and one more than Very Easy is broken) - I'll fix and upload a new version tomorrow after some testing.

EDIT: I put a new version up, the place it was crashing I think was in the slip damage (poison) because there were then cases where it was 0 and that case wasn't caught. PMing you to try it out.

Yes, it's supposed to be that dark. Don't worry, you're not expected to actually move or find anything in that map. It's there for... a reason. Just one.

Now, any guesses as to what this game may be?~

Something about that seems familiar…

You could see it better if you had a flashlight to flip on, though it'd probably notice you right away too. : )

To be fair, Ginger was intended to be more of an experience, so it's not about 'completing' it as seeing how far you can stand to get. I didn't expect many (any?) to actually collect all 15 notes AND make it to Mrs. Claus - though you can go STRAIGHT to Mrs. Claus and still end it without collecting any notes.

If Ginger gets you you've seen one of the 'endings,' anyway, so that counts as complete! (Just not 100%)

Played this game four times, practically in a row. The first three goes were pretty short, as I kept running into the-guy-that-eats-players. I managed to avoid it the fourth go, even going so far as to collect three, maybe four letters before it found me.


Be careful with the flashlight - he can see you from far away if he has line of sight and you have it on.

If you have it on even when he can't see you he's likely to hang around where you are more, so hiding with it off until he leaves is a good strategy. If you can hear him breathing he's really close, otherwise use his steps and that red light as a signal for how close he is.
