ANIMEBRYAN'S PROFILE

I had to "Old Yeller" my old laptop, a laptop that has given me a decade of entertainment, became the ultimate retro console thanks to emulators, and has allowed me to pursue my dream of being a game designer with both RPG Maker & SMBX. Now, ALL of that work, is gone. This is not how my 40th birthday should be. I am dead inside now. I just don't give a shit about anything anymore ;_;

author=Corfaisusauthor=AnimebryanNo one else is having this problem, and it looks like it's never been brought up (or not for a long time, at least), so clearly it's a problem with your computer/internet or your virus detection software perhaps deleting files without you knowing.author=CorfaisusNO! IT'S NOT SIMPLE!!! I DELETED ALL THE OLD FILES & DOWNLOADED A NEW COPY OF THE GAME & THE PATCH & THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE! SO YOU PISS OFF SMARTASS!!!author=AnimebryanFirst, no one's going to miss you, so kindly piss off.
Since I'm no longer getting any support to get around this problem this game is officially dead to me! Next time try making a game that doesn't have any game breaking glitches! Peace out!
Secondly, it was pretty simple. Just re-download the game and the patch file. Take your old save file (it should probably be in your "My Documents" folder under a folder that shares the game name but only contains a save file) and copy it onto your desktop temporarily (follow this up with deleting the old save folder just to be safe). Then, install version 1.5.0 and then run the 1.6.1 patch and when it tells you where to apply the patch, select the game's folder.
After that, start up the game and it should create another save folder in "My Documents", and copy your old save files over to this folder. Your game should now work properly (seeing as how no one else has encountered this problem with a pure game) and your save file should be recognized.
Simple, yeah?
That used to be a problem with another game I was playing, then I had enough & uninstalled my antivirus program, so that can't be the case. Besides, from what the error says, it sounds like a problem with not finding the name of the particular map since Sin Titulo means Without Title or Untitled. Not only that, but the map files don't physically exist in any of the folders which means they exist internally within the executable itself & there for the maps couldn't be messed with by my computer.

I'm sorry, there's not much I can do for you? It's just a little bit frustrating for me as a developer who can't figure out why a cutscene will work on one guy's computer and not another's considering this game is two years old and has been beaten plenty of times in that period.
However, if you want to give it another go, send me your save file. I'll do the part for you and save right after.
I'd rather just fix the problem directly. And why does it give me that "Sin Titulo" & Not Implemented error? It's probably something wrong with the mini game's map. I looked up Sin Titulo & apparently it means without title or untitled. I assume it's saying that the mini game's map doesn't have the proper name or any name at all. This would be alot simpler if I could view the map files to see & maybe correct the problem directly. Even if you do move me past that point, what good would that do if it happens again? Just explain why that weird error comes up.

The patch program does all the work itself. There's no way to screw up the patching if it's automated!
Super Smash Bros. Crusade
There are still some glitches in classic mode. I've had an opponent linguring on the edge of the screen without falling or dying, I nearly ran out of time because of this. Also, I had a match where my opponent lost but the match didn't end. After waiting long enough I tried to exit out of the match but there was no option to do so, so I commit suicide until all my lives ran out, then I won the match still! Not only that, but I started the next match with 0 lives & whenever I died, I just come back with no game over, like I had Infinite Lives or something. BTW, are there any unlockables yet? So far all I've unlocked was 2 stages, Q-bert & Duck Hunt.

Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest Remastered
Hey! Just beat the game & I've gotta big list of flaws for you to fix!
#1 - Misspellings: Reuben. His name is still misspelt on the menu. It's also misspelt when riding on the giant tree. Surprise, not Suprise. Tree in the back of the Windia Chocobo Forest misspells "their". Guard, not Gaurd. Visitor, not Visiter. Piece, not Peice.
#2 - Reuben's mom's face. I see you changed it with 1.4. But you didn't change her old face when she's responding to Reuben.
#3 - Battle Background errors. I already mentioned the Ice Pyramid problem. Well it happens in the overworld too. Snowfields on the way to Fireburg for one. Pazuzu's castle background in the forests of Windia as well. Seems to be a problem identifying the proper background for terrain or something. I copied the script you gave me but I wonder how accurate it is because of this.
#4 - Can't sell items. Seriously, why?
#5 - Missing original weakness. Mad Oaks not taking extra damage from Kaeli's axe. In the original, there were tree enemies that were weak to the axe weapons, makes sense when you think about it. I also noticed that bombs weren't hitting all enemies like they did in the original. Also, ghosts in the original were weak against wind. Spectres in Alive Forest weren't weak to Tornado.
#6 - Chests. No matter how hard I tried, I could not reach the red chest on the 3rd floor of the Ice Pyramid (I'm pretty sure it's the only one) It's in the middle area of the 3rd floor. There's no way to get to it, not on that floor, or from the floor above or below it. What was in there anyway? Also, what's with the red chest in Colin's house in Fireburg? There's no way to unlock the door blocking it.
#7 - Ozma optional battle. When you get ready to fight, the game crashes saying "Unable to find file Audio/BGM/jenova." I looked in the audio folder & there's no jenova file, but I did see a Ozma battle music file, which I assumed is the BGM file that was meant to be used. I played it, but you don't hear anything until 1:23 into it. Even then, it sucked. I don't know if you decided to scrap it or whatever, but you'll need to fix that & please find a better track for that battle. I improvised by taking my jenova theme from the FF7 Advent Children movie & naming it "jenova" then threw it into the folder. Worked like a charm. Also, during the battle, Light Ozma turned into Pazuzu. Is that supposed to happen? And when I won, it said that I got the Ogrekiller, but when I checked my items list, it wasn't there! I was pissed! I started to wonder if it's because my items list might of been full. If it was, all the more reason to enable selling items!
#8 - Text run off text window. Some of the dialog slightly runs off the text window, around when you rescue Capt. Mac. Also, you can walk on the grated windows in Capt. Mac's cabin on the ship.
#9 - Encounter rate at the Cliffs of the Sirens is too high. If I can't go more than 2 spaces without being dragged into a battle, that's a problem. I also noticed this everywhere else once I had the full team.
#10 - Ben isn't being targeted by hit-all moves from enemies when you have a full group. Status effect attacks hit everyone, but not damaging attacks, they hit the other 3 members & not Ben.
#11 - Recycling in Doom Castle. This is where you dropped the ball. You started recycling old enemies from previous areas instead of making improved versions of them. That's horrible! Even worse, you recycled the 2-headed dragon's room! Why?! Not only that, but I couldn't help but noticed that you nerfed the hell out of Doom Castle in general. I remember doing alot more running around in the original, especially the Ice Pyramid & Pazuzu's Tower parts. It's like you just got lazy & was in a rush to complete the game. This seemed like a pretty solid remake up until I got to saving Capt. Mac. Doom Castle was a disappointment, as was the Ozma battle not starting correctly or not giving me the Ogrekiller that I earned, or how easy the underworld enemies & boss was. Holy Sword skill is a joke! Does less damage than my normal attack. And of course the Dark King was the biggest joke of it all! The original Dark King transformed & put up a much better fight. If you're going to gang up on him 4 to 1, then atleast make him MUCH stronger!
#12 - Pazuzu's Barrier. What was his barrier supposed to do? I thought it deflected attacks back at you while it was up? The whole fight he had that barrier up & I just relentlessly wailed on him.
Anyway, that's my list of flaws for you to fix after finally finishing the game. If I had to rate it, I would give it a 7/10, maybe 8 or 9 if you ever finally iron out all of the flaws. Looking forward to better versions soon.

author=darkdesigngamesauthor=AnimebryanNorton isn't compatible with many software :(author=darkdesigngamesI've dealt with the Norton problem. I had the settings to ignore the file but it still flagged the file. But it really crossed the line when it flagged & removed the game.exe. That's when I snapped & decided it was time to put the Norton Antivirus down, just like Old Yeller. Anyway, after I download the 1.4 patch will I still be able to continue with my save file or will I have to restart the game?author=AnimebryanI'm trying to duplicate this issue myself but its working for me. I'm looking at the event now.author=KenjiFayukeI'm having the same problem. Btw, I'm also having trouble with my Norton Antivirus blocking & deleting the RGSS202E.dll file.
Edit: After I beat the boss in the tree the tree tells me that he wants to teleport me out. He doesn't teleport me out there and I can't move or open the menu.
Norton is very funny about executable compression, I've had it flag RPG Maker VX before on many occasions. Simply allow the file through the ignore list and the problem will go away.
EDIT: I've found the cause of the problem. Strange how it didn't affect me during playthroughs, I will fix this immediately and will try to get the patch out as soon as I can. (The patch would include some of the latest changes as well, which is a bonus!)
P.S. How did you implement those battle backgrounds without switching to VX ACE? On your youtube account when I suggested it you said you like swirly backgrounds just the way they are.
No, you wont have to start over.
A very quick script that I put together that stops the swirl effect with a global switch then loads the external bitmap into the battle scene, however there's limitations as for each area that the player moves to, a event is created to change the background image for that area. It was a pain in the neck but eventually I got it to work without the hassle of completely redoing the project in Ace!
Anyway I can have that battle background script? I'm planning on making a few remakes myself & I can't stand that stupid swirly background nor can I afford VX ACE. Please :)
Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest Remastered
Also, the battle background for the Ice Pyramid is the snow field, might want to change that to either the Wintry Cave or Falls Basin battle background.

Actually I did have to start over. I went back to Foresta & noticed that Kaeli is in bed even though she's in my party, might want to fix that. But when I tried to go back into Focus Tower, the entrance said "blocked by a mysterious force" which I'm assuming is the fix to the entrance glitch that let's you skip getting the sand coin. Obviously the new switch that enables you to go in didn't exist before & depending on what triggers that switch, like getting the sand coin which I already have, it would be impossible to reenter the tower.
