My sister and I played some Super Monkey Ball today. Apparently there is a split-screen mode where you race head-to-head on the regular levels. A tiny problem is that the timer never resets, so on some levels it's pretty easy to end up with no players reaching finish because they fell off only once. We did a line-up of 5 of some of the more difficult courses and were tied for first place by the end of it with 0 points each! Still fun as hell, though.
Monkey Billiards ended up being a blast, too, as we decided to only go for trick shots. Honestly, it's hard to say what's more amazing: the shots we got on purpose; or the shots that we missed, but then turned into even more amazing shots. Like, "hit the ball, bounce around the table, and then hit the ball again into the side pocket" kind of amazing. I'm rather sad that there's no replay saving in that mode...
I'm not entirely sure how to feel about that.
I played a game about killing amorphous blobs.
It was fun, was on armor games.

Is Win7 the best move to go from WinXP or can I just stick with XP?

I want to buy a new laptop but all new laptops in my country come with windows 8. I tried looking for windows 7 but no laptop comes with it. I don't know why the unholy fuckcakes that is.
I really don't want windows 8. I tried to use it once and was turned off by so many things. Is there nothing i can do?

I was kinda thinking about joining VXAce and posting on RMwebs again, but I'm already pretty active on here and I'm really unsure about juggling two-three different RPG Maker sites again like I used to years ago on top of my personal life. It got a bit too strenuous after a while.
Actually this place is far more active than VXAce.

BM, I like you but I don't really understand why you keep ejecting "Stop talking, please." into this thread. I still see people getting something out of this, and as an observer, I'm getting a whole lot out of this. Seriously, I'm like 16 and I know only the bare minimum about the topics here. Just watching this thread is giving me insight that I'll probably need as a future adult. I want to see the world be a nicer, happier place where people are safe to be themselves. At the same time, I don't want to lose ways to express myself. How do I reconcile these two desires? Some people in this thread are making it out to be a horribly irreconcilable pair of ideas, but honestly other people see it as just trying/listening more. Which I don't find to be a lot to ask.
I think it's worth talking about. There are billions of people in this world a good chunk of which will live a full lifetime - which can be a lot of time. There's surely enough time and/or people to think about it at least.
