Lately I've been thinking about how it'd be cool to have a greater portion of the RMN userbase active on real-time channels of communication.

Though it's a mechanic to like, just a couple fight in my own personal game, where you get slowed or in severe cases, paralyzed when you try to sprint.
Reactive behaviors are fun to mess with.
On that note. I've worked on Esperia's final bossfight a lot this weekend.
The third phase is the hardest so far. She does melee claw combos, Chequemate (which is a checkerboard tile skill, Bloodseeker Bite, Archonfire and Damnation, along with her often disorienting teleporting. This isn't so bad on the typical 18x3 arena where she also has a few pauses after casting meteors of heaven.

Now as you can see, the arena is 3x7. her combos occupy 5 or 9 spaces of that, and she does everything in brutally rapid succession.

Love her laugh. You should never kill her off btw. Have her join the party to help kill a worse villain (for fun, not because she's become heroic) or something. Esperia's way too cool a character to just have someone knock her off.
Fuck dude, you and I think so very alike. That's exactly what she does. Don't worry even if she is killed, she's only away so long as Heldath binds her, which is usually a day at most. She's already dead, you can't just kill her again for good.

I reckon have some robed up sniper bugs on the roofs with face masks. Think sorta like the Irken Shocktroopers.

I like the look of your falling rocks, BM. Gives me some good inspiration for a similar section I have in my game.
What I need to do is make them jump to a place above the platform then jump off the moment they get on said platforms, which make it more easy to predict, right now it feels pretty cheap.
Big shout out to Dominora for composing Cruel Chills and The Crumbling Freeway for this part of the game. They suit Esperia and her battles so well.

I wouldn't mind an explanation. I'm always trying to better myself as a Human being, and I feel ignorance on this matter is deflating that. It's not chosen ignorance, I've just never bothered to research it, sorta like a video game journalist doesn't research economics. It's not that I'm against knowledge, it's that it's never really been something I've had interest in.

also i try not to let reactionary things like "someone said I couldn't do this so i'm gonna DO IT EVEN MORE" decide what I do 90% of the time. That line of thought is childish and it's embarrassing to see people who should know better engage in it.I've been rebellious pretty much all my life, it's just what I do. Call it childish, it probably is. It's my way of handling things.

I can't just create a straight character, change their romantic interest to the same sex and be done with it, there's much more to it than that.
