I would appreciate it if you would stop stirring shit up in these topics since quite frankly, they're getting old and just serve as an annoyance when we could be focusing on fixing issues that exist in the engine in newer OSes based on feedback.

I've had an epiphany that everyone else is having, growing up is just a buzzword, maturing? Buzzword. It's all namby-pamby horseshit that encourages kids to go with the corporate machine and be responsible and blarrr...
Being an existential thinker, I think the terms immature, mature, right, wrong, good, bad, evil whatever... are all buzzwords. They are invented by humans to criticize or aggrandize subjectively a topic or a target.
They hold no value in the vast scheme of the universe. The terms are very human ones.

You're all being fucking ridiculous I'm not even sure which side I support, but maxMcgee said one thing that's very true, people are toxic, and they will be forever, adding new labels or whatever is just bandaiding an issue you can't really solve. The best we can do is pass laws that promote tolerance, i.e. allowing gay marriage, having toys in the same section whatever.
By a future, these will stop people being so horrid, in fact it's already working to some degree, just making everything as accessible for anyone is the ideal, any other shit is just gravy we don't need to worry about.
Tolerance is awesome, but some people are gonna be complete fucking dicks, we gotta be prepared for both, so making our earth a children's ward everywhere isn't a good idea.
For instance, some members here I've had extreme difficulty tolerating, if it weren't for all the experience and backbone I've gotten from my Bro's rough-handling of my psyche, I'd never be able to cope here.
I'm not an asshole on purpose, and as Sated pointed out, no one should be.
I mean we get it so easy in the 21st century, if shit like this had been talked about back in even the 1980's you'd be laughed out of the room.
Gender politics and all the terms used for different fellows therein only further stimulates a label for people to use, what we should be doing is going for equality and just one simple understanding, that we're people, we're all different, none of us are 'normal', and normal is buzzword in itself.
Branching into all this other shit just makes people more irritable around you, attaching labels to yourself just seems to make people annoyed, I personally don't mind, but like, can't we all just get along?
No. ofcourse not, because humans are fucking terrible, the sooner you come to grips with that, the sooner you can get past this... whatever this is.
Let's take an example, say a mother raised their child innocuously, and never exposed them to negativity.
Going out into the real world as that child would be HELLISH. It would be a fucking nightmare. Life is about suffering, abjure that thought as much as you can, but it's the truth, it's how you cope in the face of said suffering that makes you unique as a human being.
You aren't special because you give a name to whatever unique person you are, you are special because of what you do, how you combat problems, etc.
Just drop the fucking name horseshit honestly, tumblr's turned into a joke, and all the names attached are never going to get the respect you want them to have, because that vocal minority of yours who wanted to push it all in our faces are now just getting laughed at.
Just be yourself, whatever yourself is, and enjoy it, quit worry about labels or whatever, it's a fruitless endeavor.

author=Jer155Okay cool.author=BowelMovementi haven't yet thought of a title, so i've labeled it a remake for the time being. i'll take your advice and change its name and gameplay (sort of) to a fan game, and i've been looking around to make a zelda 2-style game, but it will be its own thing.
I'll let a moderator get on your case about the rules, as for this thing, then. Why even call it a remake if it's not? Imo just burrow inspiration but still make a game that speaks of you.
Just as an example, my game Perseverance: Adherence is a like Oddworld: Abe's oddysee in a lot of ways, but it's still very much it's own thing. Attaching 'remake' to something in the rpgmaker crowd is a quick way to produce negativity, since remakes are common and often bad.
I myself have made fan games, albeit, with completely different stories and stuff. They weren't very good, but they lent me some insights that would propel me towards a successor.
Also don't worry about blatantly ripping gameplay off, because that's more or less accepted as a part of game design.

I'm still waiting for an rpg maker/game maker studio-like engine that allows you to simply import 3D models and drag and drop behaviors that let you build a simple game in 3D without programming knowledge.
(Actually don't quote me I have no idea if it can do that.)

Just change graphic via events.
I have this same thing but without that ABS, but set move route change graphic works for enemies. Then like Lightning Lord said just have a graphic for casting and one for idle.
Been a while since I used pearl, but I doubt it's impossible.
For the graphics, if you aren't a spriter or dont want to do it yourself, you can probably ask someone.

Dealing with death as a plot point?
The above, or have a limited amount of time for said thing to work.
Or you can be really silly about it if you'd like... for example having a type of food that only your party members can tolerate, like a Swamp Mushroom that makes you stink but on the upside it can raise you from death.
