author=bulmabriefs144In battle she's very relaxed and confident, that said I have amplified those in particular. You can tell she's very assured of her victory. When she's relying on others she's a lot more loud and emphatic, see 'Kill her you fools!'
I like her voice but on the battle section, it sounds kinda I dunno how to put this, uhhh lacking emphasis? Sorta like saying "No don't." when the situation calls for "NO DON'T!" Or just turn up the volume a bit. The early cinematic stuff was very much "Kill her you fools!" and then it sorta toned down in battle.
author=bulmabriefs144It will ultimately be a lot less noticable when fighting her, I've upped the pitch by 5% in her non-attack lines to help deficit it some.
I dunno it sounds kinda funny to listen to, because her other stuff is so dramatic and then she sounds kinda like a kid with the "huh, hah, hya" sounds.
Your map looks cool, just need to make thoses houses longer, unless your game is based around Georgian dollhouses, I don't think that's really going to work at all. Pizza already said as much.
And extreme dev too, woops.
@JosephSeraph: Was about to say WE ARA FELL NOW but then you do these actually pretty well, just tone down the intensity.
Whatchu Workin' On? Tell us!
author=zacheatscrackersWhen a deadline is imminent for me I always end up madly dashing towards getting to it by the end.
My problem isn't really not setting deadlines (since I've set one for myself numerous deadlines) so much as getting side-tracked/distracted by so many things that I forget that I was working on something in the first place. I've gotten better about it, though.
I actually feel like gam mak today! So I'm gonna go do that.

Dealing with Poison
I have two types, chip poisons, such as burn, frostbite which do 1% elemental damage over a turn, which nothing is immune to (and can stack with different elements) and then the big poison, which most bosses are immune to, that chips 20% or so HP off each turn.
In the newest version of my game I've yet to release, Zardari will be able to be killed entirely by players, (no more deus ex machina horseshit) in total you can chip off 6% of his hp per turn, which is good because uh...

Yeah.

RPG Maker 2000 Value! Is now out in English!
Well, in the defense of Degica, I also have virtually no interest in 2000/2003 anyway.
Degica is a corporation, and much as I'd love to believe they are looking out for their fans, that's a load of hogwash, they like any large corporation is interested in money, certainly, fan encouragement to give them incentive to do that is all a nice moral scapegoat, and it may not have happened if not for fan demand, and I'm not saying them doing it was a bad thing, though I'm sure i have said contrarily argumentative statements in the past.
But I refuse to believe a company so skitterbrained about it's security that they ban anyone who has any involvement with me or my company as part of a 'conspiracy' that you should be pretty informed of by about now-- has any moral benevolence at all. I do not think they did this purely for fans, they saw what fans wanted, a way to make money, not hard, I'm not saying that they shouldn't have, hey, you're a business, gotta make the moolah somewhere, but acting like Degica has any interest in catering to its fans in any sense except that which could bring them a profit or promote their public identity is farcical. I've been both friends and enemies of several high ranking Degica officials for years now, (some before they were allied with Degica or before the VX.net Calamity) I'm not pulling shit out of my ass, I keep that for the Welp welp section.
I know what I'm talking about. RPG Maker politics is literally the only field of politics I'm at all versed in.
I understand you are somewhat in their fold, and I recognize you can't possibly agree with my thesis on this because that would endanger not only your reputation, but possibly your job too, I don't know how in deep you are, and again it's not really my concern.
But like, when you get a Job at MacDonalds and you're trained to ask for Extra fries, of course you ask if they want extra fries.
One of Bill gates Employee's isn't gonna go mouthing off about the company, that's just not on. So Of course Archeia Nessiah and anyone with a role of prominence in webs isn't going to be swayed by my mouthing off, it'd be a personal doomsday move to lose their reputation and possibly their account instantly. Degica isn't evil enough to warrant being that wayward.
And my unflinching respect isn't worth throwing a position away. my unflinching respect is worth pretty much nothing, actually! Except perhaps a cool friend and a skype account with another loud toothole on it.
author=LibertyThis is the last I intend to say on the matter. Beleive me or don't, I don't care.
Please get over your 'Degica is a money demon' phase quick. It's rather boring and bloody annoying. It's really all you ever talk about when you post in this or the 2k3 thread. It's not a money grab to release stuff that fans ask for.

What are you thinking about? (game development edition)
author=LockeZI was using 128 bitrate as an example.
They can if you import the right audio scripts. Though, so can MP3s, if you import the right audio scripts.
BM: What you're saying is true, but you shouldn't be using that low of a bitrate in the first place unless your song is a 16-bit chiptune or something, where there's nothing to actually lose. At higher bitrates they're basically identical, with MP3 even winning out sometimes. The exact winner is gonna be different for each song. It's not worth caring about IMO.

There's an example of the sort of music I use.
