I keep coming back to check on this and being disappointed that there aren't any updates. Is there anything we can do to get it up and running again so it can be released? Like maybe divvy up the responsibilities between multiple people? Expecting 1 person to finish a large project like this is sort of an unreasonable burden anyway.

After getting the normal end, I spent a lot of time looking for a cat because I thought I missed something.

My initial playthrough has shown me that the essentials's RNG is really bad. Bite and Rock Smash seem to activate their respective affects 4 times out of 5. Additionally, Pokemon in red health at the beginning of the game still manage to break multiple pokeballs from getting caught.

What was the conclusion on the amped up shiny rate? Do we have a specified statistic? The shinies are awesome.
