Im looking to collaborate with some folks =)
You've not given any specifics on your project, so I don't know, but just in case you haven't seen this, I'll drop a subtle link and see what you think o:
VXA Pantomime: FFVI
He's one of the side bosses in the game; comes up, but never really has any plot relevant stuff, which is why I didn't include him in the play proper. But the music that was playing during the credits rolling is one of my favourite tracks in the game and plays during a boss fight of his. The sequence on stage during it is how I always imagined the boss fight in my head when I was playing FFVI, 'cuz it's just so upbeat and lively!

Having circular and angular HUD screens (or even just three different styles of HUD windows) put together looks kinda weird.
The "Skill Dispaly" looks good though, seems to suit the overall vibe of the screeny better than soft, single-colour circles.

Well, while hoping that wasn't capitalised for sarcasm, am glad you think so! Was a great project to make, and the final scene was great fun, so was hoping it'd come out well; went through every scene so many times during event-testing that I reckon I'm probably blind to bugs or errors!

Two of his points were the same things I mentioned >.>
Y'know, just since you were looking for a response "soon" and all~

The brown bit is stairs?
Honestly I had it pegged as just part of the pipe.
Would probably colour the steps differently from where the handrail would be (rather than all just a single colour) and/or extend the steps down onto the ground a bit more so it's more obvious that they're separate from the pipe.
S'just me, though.

Looking for new games to Let's Play

I always looked at it that the LP was fully off the cuff, non-rehearsed impromptu feedback given at the exact moment that the players are experiencing the game.
That's exactly it for me, with LPs. That's the reason I like them, when they're made like that. But it's when that aspect of it disappears that they just become someones else video blog with game footage in the background.
Either way though, I'm glad I helped you out some and if you do give Syma a try, here's hoping you'll like it. Although to be perfectly honest there might not be entirely much to work with, as it is being just made one level at a time. Although I've made an effort to try and keep each level different from each other (and totally love Dane's solo mission) so with any luck you'll have some fun at least :)
And hey, I always have faith in people who discuss these things and actively seek feedback. They're generally always the ones who improve fast and stay good. It's the ones who just try and imitate and ignore criticism that tend to go down the shitter~

Personally, I find the idea of LPs to be more of a critical engagement; they play the game with no intention to big-up or berate the title, and just look at it in a critical and analytical perspective while discussing the game and it's content. It's basically a step-by-step review of the entire game.
The personality comes in after that, because if it was just some monotone saying "this is good", "this is bad" no one'd watch it, so if you can connect or engage with the LPrs, you get a more entertaining experience.
The problem is when you find someone who's more interested in getting their name or quirky/fake personality out there than actually analysing the game itself, and spend most of the time trying to make stupid jokes or repeat catchphrases while forgetting to discuss what's actually happening in the game while they're doing that.
I do enjoy a good LP, but it just seems that, by ratio, written LPs tend to be more likely to be the kind of LPs I enjoy; it's hard to force a stupid personality while writing, so folk just get on with the LP and the humour comes naturally.
Although I may be a tad biased in that respect, since the first LP I ever saw was written, and at that time I had absolutely no idea what was going on; I thought it was a review at first then realised it was like 35 pages long with pictures of every single scene in the game!
Not that video LPs are all bad; I feel for you, trying to compete with the very people that turn off your prospective viewers. But aye, making an effort to get feedback is a good thing. You ever start to go off track and folk will often be quick to remind you...and that's exactly what you want!

Kinda glad Gau wasn't story-related enough to be perfectly honest; I'd probably have had to have made a fresh sprite for him since the VXA generated ones look absolutely nothing like him, and I didnae wanna spend too much time on art for what was meant to be a quick project :(
Gau coulda been fun in the Panto theme though; have him jump on the audience and shit :D
