What the crap, guys?

I jump on Discord, completely ignore this site, come back and Liberty's banning you all for your stream of YM fucking statuses?

Yes, we all know Yellow Magic's a handsome guy, but shit.

Pst... Hey, I heard you like NES RPGs? (New game in the works!)

Does this have something to do with the game you told me about a while back and I made an area for or is this a completely new project you'll be working on?

Who is Vincent Valentine?

Amulet of Fate

Ack! I know it's no motivator (you've got stuff going on), but I've been looking forward to this game for years. Watching the old Youtube videos got me all excited to see what was in store.

Amulet of Fate

Is there anything you've got so far that's playable? Maybe you could just release a demo of that to hold us over until then?

Happy Thanksgiving RMN!

That's not for a whole month+ for us Americans.

Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy II Review

author=UPRC
I know that I cannot legitimately please everyone.

It's just so... "dammit", you know? You see a sequel and you're like "okay, good, let's get into it." because you expect improvements - the next big step up - but then when it's simply not there, it's disappointing. Final Fantasy Blackmoon Prophecy (the original) - despite my problems with it - still has me gripped. It's not a perfect game by any stretch of the imagination, but what it inspired in me (as few games manage to earnestly do) is something that lives on. Games like Dragon Fantasy (which I gave its sequel an equally disappointing score*)left me with an impression that's not going away any time soon because it captured a moment in time; it was what it set out to be and I became immersed in the world.

Blackmoon Prophecy may have been a 40 hour trek through maps, battles and a story that wasn't exactly blockbuster, but it was that I stuck it out and walked away with such a strong, lasting impression of it that I - honestly - favor it as much as I do. It's still a three-star game, but when compared to Blackmoon Prophecy II, I look fondly back on it and wish this game did half of what it managed to do. I wanted to see a step forward, but what I saw out of this game was a step sideways. It wanted to be the sequel to the hit without striving to be a hit itself, I felt.

I felt like it wanted to skirt by on rips and scripts (which, honestly, might have made for a better review title, but I wanted to pay homage to the original), which is what I see a lot out of games with scripting capabilities. The crown jewel of the game seemed to be the battle system, but even that's just the same script that everyone uses. It's hard to really be excited when left with that impression, and fighting Espers while lighting torches to scare away spiders is what I'm greeted with otherwise.

* Legion Saga was another series with a good game and a mediocre sequel.

Did you draw this yourself? I have to ask because it's what drew me to your gamepage.

Stay a while and listen

Actually that was Cain in Diablo I.

Filled out a little more of the northern part of the continent. Not sure if it's going to stay that way, but I do have plans if it does.
