I wish that I had joined a programming class like my older brother when he was in high school and had the chance to get a grade on an RPG that I whipped up in my free time.

That's funny you should say that because EVERYTHING that I use shows up perfectly fine. If it were to get lighter, it would make all else unbearable.
If I have to adjust MY settings because someone thought it would be funny to just about blank out the map before flashing to a bright sunny day, the game is not worth the time.

A day's worth of work is clearly enough to get uppity over. I may have come by this 3 years late, but I'm glad that I read over this, because it just goes to show how immature people can be about fair criticism. I guess not all of us moved past "You can't judge me, you haven't done anything! I'd like to see YOU do better!" after hitting puberty.
To commemorate the 5th year of DoaDV.
A few errors that have been found and fixed are:
• Victory theme in the Music Sphere was misspelled as "Victore" when asked to change themes.
• Though only appearing when the Text Speed variable is set to 1, the pirate reminding himself that he should probably look for help instead of abandoning his group was still set to the slow text speed.
• After finishing the final scene in the demo, walking back into the inn of the Forest Path still had the old event setup at the door instead of teleporting inside, thus the game attempts to start the scene where the dragon awakes, but gets caught up and freezes after entering the inn.

I'm torn between quoting Zelda 1's "It's dangerous to go alone! Take this." and Super Mario Bros. 3 Peach letters where she gives you items like P-wings and clouds to help you along on your quest.

Strangely enough, though in no way connected to this game, the first thing I heard in my head after looking at this screenshot was Falco's sarcastic "I guess I should be thankful." from the first stage of Starfox 64.
Demon Legacy
You should just download the RTP independent version then, because frankly, I don't know how many files are missing from the smaller version.
