I could have sworn it was more of a yellow color. Then again, I haven't played on the original Gameboy since around 1999.

Sweet, Alex is there, too.

Either he's going to the person he bought this ship from to get his money back, or to the far off land of Final Fantasy.

EpiQuest Review

I think I tried to play this once but a file was missing, or my computer just plain didn't like it... I don't know. Either that, or I started and lost interest. Though, because of this review, I'm inclined to give it another shot, because it seems like this is a game that I will thoroughly enjoy.

EDIT: And I'm done. I lost interest after recruiting the new heroes. I traveled all over trying to find the next thing to do. I guess I was supposed to buy the painting, but because I wanted to buy some equipment for my new recruits, I was left without the 900 gold required to do so. There were no monsters that I could fight to earn the gold back, either, so I figured this was it for me.

On Getting Rejected

Thank you Marrend. You get the point.

I'm quite sure we all got the "point". You felt the need to teach us all never to give up, despite having done so yourself. With a teacher like that, who needs 'em, eh?

On Getting Rejected

You worked on a game for a day and it got rejected? With such a small amount of work, I'd have to say that nothing was gained, and nothing was lost, even more so by you admitting that this was enough for you to flat-out give up on your game. I could sympathize with you if you had worked on it for months or years and then got the same slap in the face, but this would be like me making 2-3 maps, a cutscene, and a witty title. Hardly a game if you ask me.

Maybe, if you felt good enough about it, you could work vigorously on it for a couple of weeks to a month and make a sizable demo, all the while improving on your mapping and storyline, writing down all that can go into a description, and trying to submit it again. Also, don't worry about spoilers in your description, because if you do, you'll probably end up with a vague 2 sentences talking about the field outside the starting village.

ill natured 1

I'm stuck considering I'm unable to do anything at this point. I just recruited Ken, finished up in Apnea, talked to that Snow Maiden woman, and there is nowhere else to go as no one says anything, and no new places are opened up. This game would have been a hell of a lot better had there been any sort of indication of where to go next in moments like this.
