I have acquired 'Record of Agarest War' for the 360. As best I can describe it, it's like Final Fantasy Tactics meets ragnarok online's graphics meets a dating sim game and had a three-way baby.
Cutscenes play out like a dating sim, which is pretty bad, but the rest of it is pretty fun. Seems like it's going to be a very long game too, which is good, because I like my tactical rpg's long.
Yeah, I got this a while ago and haven't played very much, but noticed that the battles did seem refreshingly quite challenging from pretty early on. I underestimated it and actually died a few times in the first free-movement-random-battle area. (Though trying again multiple times wasn't fun due to those areas being laggy as all heck in the EU disc version, don't know about the US download version)
Eh, other than that the game didn't seem TOO interesting and was kind of generic, but apparently the US version is written much better so that probably helps keep people playing more than in the pretty dry version I played. I should probably give it a proper go someday, though... at least to the second generation.

Yeah, this sounds like a nice idea. I'm sure everyone in education is a little busy atm but this doesn't sound like much work. Even at other times, stops those stretches of weeks where absolutely nothing gets done, I guess! Do it.

So, I got "Pokemon: SoulSilver"
goddamnit I actually had a geodude in my party and expressly caught a different one to teach rock smash. :' ( this was after not playing for too long and so not remembering about the move deleter deleting HMs.
Crobat one of the rare ones that the pokewalker lets you catch early on, or did you have a Golbat in there and it increases happiness? I keep forgetting to actually try the pokewalker. I'm kind of worried that it'll overlevel them a bit, but thinking about it it probably goes quite slowly?

I'm just about to fight Jasmine, everyone's about almost level 30 but then I only really use four at the moment. Enjoying this a lot so far, but taking my time. I assume that you get to transfer in from Ruby/Fire Red once you've beaten the champion or somewhere around there, looking forward to that. It's good that you don't have to have encountered the legendary dogs by luck at least once to be able to track their positions. And that they included Suicune's sidequest from Crystal, as well.
also I didn't realise my entire party was male until whitney's miltank and its attract grrrrrRRR

Didn't enjoy Diamond much but really looking forward to this, out here in about 10 days (can't be arsed to import if the wait is less than about 2 weeks). Thought the pokewalker looked a bit crap but it seems to have gone down well, I'll give it a go!
Also I know a few people who take pokemon very really seriously, EV-training and shiny chaining and poke... super... breeding... and... stuff. Needless to say, I won't be telling them I have the game.
