What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
Got a good few hours into Heavy Rain then accidentally selected 'new game' instead of 'continue' and it replaced all of my data with a brand new file. nah, fuckdat

RM2K3 Battle Layout
If it helps, I had the same dilemma a while ago. I had received complaints about the gauge battle system, that I was using at the time, so I made a topic about which people preferred, and the result was overall apathetic. I guess if you can make emotive enough battlers for when afflicted with status ailments, it should be fine? Oh, and it's not AS useful as being in the battle menu, but if you target an enemy, i.e. when choosing between them, it does tell you if they're afflicted with any status. Not sure if it does the same for when targeting characters for healing. I'd guess that it does, but I may be wrong.

What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I've got nostalgia for Exit Fate atm, being about this time last year that it came out. Might give it another playthrough.
Recently resumed and finished Valkyria Chronicles. I love, love, love this game. It has somewhat of a fuckyou chapter (ch.7) fairly early which put some people (and me, originally) off, which is a shame. Still, really good. Considering getting the DLC. Tried the Valkyria Chronicles 2 demo as well, doesn't seem as nice. It's more generic-bubbly-anime than the first and controls on PSP feel very clunky after playing the PS3 version for so long. I'd rather have waited longer for them to make it on PS3 instead... Well, I'll see how it is once it's in English, anyway.
Also downloaded Flower off the PSN 'cause it's cheap at the moment. Quite liking it so far.

The Final Fantasy XIII topic
I wasn't very impressed at all with what I'd seen so far of this game, especially after that 'Why FFXIII is a Bad Game' list on sankakucomplex, but my friend who was as cynical as I was has been playing through the Japanese version and really really enjoying it. It seems it might have added up to more than the sum of its parts? Apparently they actually made the first half essentially being a straight line bearable. Also while the story is bad, the characters actually seem to be quite well-done. I probably will end up checking this out.

post=123223Recently my friends count has been going up and down by about 1 or 2 every now and then... I spent about ten minutes trying to figure out who had de-friended me and then it just went back to the original number later that day. It isn't necessarily anyone.
I hate when I have one less friend on Facebook and I don't know who defriended me. :< Or if I defriended someone and forgot about it.
