And by fixed I mean edited the blog post above to say "Submission Rules" instead of "Terms of Service", because that's where it says commercial development is not allowed.

The Game section is limited to games that are produced by indie developers; that is, your non-commercial, 100% free game.
Any submission advertising a commercial game is NOT allowed.

I would say throw up a link to the "official" site/blog of the game, leave the gamepage up for a while so all subscribers get the new link and then anti-climb the page.

However unlike the free rmn games you are allowed to make an ad post about it on the video games forum once it is finished.

I would strongly suggest you get a proper site/blog for it though and not just a forum thread. Of course I don't know how far off a release is.

That sounds like the sensible thing to do.

Demos of commercial games are not allowed. Or at least they weren't during the WIP era (I vaguely remember some Chinese mythology inspired game that attempted that, it didn't last very long)

Anyway,

I'd love nothing more than to keep the game profile, but I feel like that would go against the spirit of the site, and I'm not comfortable with that. Besides, it's not like I'm pulling the game from the internets completely. I'll provide alternatives to keep up with its progress (like that link up there) and update them once in a blue moon, just like this gameprofile.

Well, regardless of their actual quality, I'm actually enjoying making all the custom graphics a lot more than I thought I would. It's still a huge pain, sure, but it's the good kind of pain. Not that I'm into that sort of thing.

I've never used 2k3 and never will...but unless you genuinely believe that somehow having an English translation will negatively affect EB's future products I can see absolutely no reason not to sign.

The petition's purpose, as I understand it, is to show Degica that there are enough potential buyers for the localization to be profitable. Why would you sign the petition if you don't plan to buy it? Unless you are actually going to throw $20 the publisher's way out of sheer altruism in exchange for a program you "never have and never will" use, there is absolutely no point in you doing this.

Let those who want it sign, let those who don't not sign, and let those who think sabotaging this will somehow result in improved support for the newer RPG Makers be their delusional little selves.
