The Cerebral Symphony
It's happening, guys. Scriptwriting has pretty much finished, coding has begun. Still hoping for Christmas 2016.

Lol, thanks raiken! I will do my best ;) Teacher training is eating up all of my time at the moment but it will be done one day. Some time next year I hope. Gonna make it as epic as I can manage!

Great to hear from you. Congrats on becoming the soon-to-be Dr. Faenon!
I'm just happy that this game will see a fitting end.
Thanks dude! The encouragement helps spur me on.
The Cerebral Symphony
This is not dead. I handed in my PhD thesis, and now I have started training as a secondary school (high school) teacher, which is a buttload of work. But the ending is in my head, ideas are in my notebook, and I will not let this die. I will finish this one day!

RMN MAY 2015 PODCAST
Do you mention last month's Development Spotlight game, The Cerebral Symphony, in this podcast, by any chance? I've only listened to the first 30 minutes in my lunch break so far.
Boys Cell: The Game Review
Oh wow, a review for Boys Cell! I noticed this a while back but forgot about it.
Can't believe someone actually reviewed this game. As I think you have seen, this game was never intended for a wider public, but for a very specific group of people ('Boys Cell', a teenage boys church youth group I was in charge of for a while in one of my former jobs.) It's just up here for fun and interest really.
But thank you for the review all the same. I'm amazed that you even gave it 2.5 stars to be honest!
In fact, this review has inspired me to go back to Boys Cell sometime and work at making it better, patch it up and smooth over some of the rough edges, to make it a more enjoyable for *anyone* to play.
Wonder if you might enjoy playing my more serious rpgmaker game, The Cerebral Symphony? http://www.rpgmaker.net/games/2693
Cheers.

The Cerebral Symphony
Hello again subscribers! (including you new ones I seem to have picked up lately from being featured on the RMN homepage)
If you don't have time to play The Cerebral Symphony just yet, raikenjenova, my #1 fan in Indonesia, has just finished his Let's Play of the latest chapter! View it in the posts above, on the media page, or at this youtube link: https://youtu.be/3RP7UtNk6-8
With Chapter 4 (technically Beta) now out, slow but steady work will now start on updating and fixing bugs in the download for Chapters 1-4, and of course on the final chapter, Chapter 5!
However, because I am in the process of finishing up a PhD in Theology and applying for real life jobs, and only have at most about one hour a week to work on TCS, unless I miraculously come across a big chunk of unexpected free time then please do not expect the final chapter any time soon!
In the meantime, please enjoy Chapters 1-4, and do please send me any feedback you have since I will incorporate it into my edits and updates. If you send me enough, I will list you as a tester, as happened for kumada, Link_2112 and raiken!
All the best,
Faenon

I was going to say, this is quite a different shot when compared to all the rest.
Yeah. I'm not very good at mapping because 1. I'm not very spatially-aesthetically inclined, being more of a storyteller (think of me as like a worse Lysander86) 2. I'm lazy 3. I'm impatient 4. I only have time to work on my game for one hour a week. This map came from the Manor Map Madness event which I contributed to, after which I emailed all the collaborators and asked them if I could reuse their haunted manor maps (not their events) for a dungeon in my game --to which they all agreed, including Liberty! Hence this screenshot.
