KNIGHTOWL'S PROFILE

Just an aspiring game designer. I've played video games since I was little and recently have gotten to the point of 'it would be so cool if this was like this' or 'if there were more options to customize this, it would be amazing', add that on top of getting ideas for games randomly and I figured I'd try my hand at making my own.

My favorite types of games tend to be:

1. Dungeon-crawling, with an emphasis on fun battles and customization with difficulty selection.

2. Horror-type games, it was awesome to see RPG Maker even capable of making games like these.

A Lost Dreamer

I never understand why games that aren't in english have english pages on here.
What if the game's native language speakers/potential players can't read english?

Back from Hiatus + Update

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. D:
You have some real talent, I'm glad to see you're doing better and back at it. :3

This is beautiful o_o

A Few Words on the Download

What I do on projects if I want to cut down on excess I don't need/use, is

- I go to the graphics folder, and delete any and all files in the Titles 1 and 2 folders that I'm not using. (no need to have 10 pictures there when you just use one)

- I remove any parallaxes I don't use. Those are also large images that take up space.

- I don't believe your game uses battles? If so delete any and all animations that you -Are NOT Using In Events For Special Effects- they can take up a -lot-.

- If you really want to cut corners, delete any fonts in the font folder that you aren't using. I do believe everyone is able to see VL Gothic without it having to be in the font folder , but I'm not 100% sure.

- And any music in the audio folder you don't use, you should probably toss that as well. I don't believe it affects the game if it isn't even played in it.

Those are my personal ideas, though. If they help, then great. xD

SpaceSave

Currently on Day 2, school.
A few notes; hidden for potential spoilers.

- I can't open the pdf file. If I do it shows a bunch of random characters all jumbled up. So any hints there I'm not going to be able to use. Maybe there'd be a way to add a 'page' to your game page that includes all the info? Might be helpful, or might just be me that has pdf problems.

- I didn't find the dog lover in the school, or city. Not sure if I was supposed to be able to and if so where he would be.

- Not sure what to do after finding the note in the sewers about the 'kidnappers', does the quests continue onto day 2?

- I love the open-world aspect to it, the exploration feel. If you ever plan to expand on this game, adding in a bit more findable equipment to obtain while searching random boxes/chests/drawers/etc would be fun. Like little accessories that give minimal +1-2 stats or small bonuses to feel like the player obtained something.

(I think the book that details the girl locked in a box is a hint to a collectable quest?)

I know I'm not even probably a quarter of the way in yet, and these are just initial thoughts, so take it with a grain of salt.

Definitely seems like a game to replay, though. Liking it so far. Also giving me a 'South Park Stick of truth' vibe in a sense.

SpaceSave

Reminds me of earthbound. Totally into this and trying it out. :D

Boundless Tides

Aaaaaaaaw yeah, I really loved your work on Terrarium, it being one of my all time favorite RPGmaker games, and I hope that this one can make it up there too. I look forward to seeing more of it done.~

Really? O: That's awesome! I'm happy to hear I could make something that was enjoyed so much! :3
I hope it can, too! And that's the plan~ It's a bit of a daunting project at times but hopefully I can place an update sometime this year~ I'll put up some new screens as I can get them.

&& Thanks, Wheelman~ xD

I'm still alive Part 2, how much left until Chapter 8?

Whooo so it's almost done. That sounds awesome. Can't wait!

Umbral Soul

Speaking of post game stuff (I'm sorry, it's my favorite XD)

You said all the acolytes seperate, do you think maybe it could be like a side/optional/fanfiction thing where Pandora were to travel and revisit her allies, and each one rejoins her. Sorta ala last half of FF6? (like with terra if you played it)
Most post games just contain stuff that's devoid of the main story as if the post game didnt happen. So that's a path you can take if you dont mind it.
You could have a bounty board in a town or two of things that popped up, or sail to an off-island, have something added to the arena area...

Just my random quick thoughts on the matter if anything helps. :3

Vermilion

RE: Breaking the rock in the forest cave.
You need to get further in the game and come back to it, Kumada. You should be able to know when. O:
