KNIGHTOWL'S PROFILE

Just an aspiring game designer. I've played video games since I was little and recently have gotten to the point of 'it would be so cool if this was like this' or 'if there were more options to customize this, it would be amazing', add that on top of getting ideas for games randomly and I figured I'd try my hand at making my own.

My favorite types of games tend to be:

1. Dungeon-crawling, with an emphasis on fun battles and customization with difficulty selection.

2. Horror-type games, it was awesome to see RPG Maker even capable of making games like these.

Jubilee

Just tried this yesterday and was hooked. A game with gay -guys-, an rpg game, and one that's actually really good? Never thought I'd find one!
Been meaning to make one myself but motivation is not too kind.

A few notes so far; Currently at Ninevah; (I'll be back after I play some more, can even feel free to message me if you want any other thoughts/info on it~)
Played on Wrath mode the entire time. Game has been a challenge the entire way through so far. Not too hard, Not easy. Haven't gotten a game-over yet, but it's been perfect difficulty through so far. (a rarity for me and my playstyle.)

Encounters aren't too long, kind of fun thinking of ways to get through them while balancing JP with 'trumpet' skill on Micah and 'leech strike' with leah after doing AoE status ailments.

In the beginning I have to admit Amos had me blushing here or there. Really hope things work out.
With the random surprise outbursts considered

Love the collectibles. Postcards are fun with solid rewards. Been saving all the pearls I find for the one reward at the end though. Whether it's overpriced or not I'll have to decide later on, feel it might not have been bad to be able to buy other things in the pearl shop with comfort while saving for the last one.

Do we get more opportunities to have meals with the characters to boost relationship/stats at certain intervals or is that a one-time thing?

When you go downstairs in Ninevah restaurant, then go back up, the red tint is gone til you go back outside.
Also, the green haired character walking around in front of the clinic on the left side says something like '}jsomething' on one of his text boxes around Ninevah time.

Sorry, rambled on. But still this is amazing so far~

Thank you! I'm working hard to make the demo of the first chapter as good as possible :) Can't tell when exactly the demo will be available but it will be sometime next year.

Sounds great! It'll be super awesome haha. Take your time~ x3
Thanks for the quick reply too~

The Seventh Warrior

This game looks amazing!~ Need to subscribe xD
Totally can't wait to try out a demo and see how it all plays like~

Corruption of Laetitia

Wow, so far just about 30-45 minutes into the game and already blown away by the detail and challenge and side quests, options, etc. Not to mention the mapping is amazing.
Been in a slump lately and cant seem to stick with anything, but so far this has stuck~

If anyone's on the fence about trying this out, let this be a push toward the download button for you, it's definitely worth it~

EDIT:

Found a bit of a glitch/bug, thought I'd let you know:
When Archemedus joins you, when you decide to avoid the war and go to the camp to get the Tenebrus Marsh Map, Before I did that, I had a low enough corruption to go up the stairway to heaven to the 3rd floor and got the "Prayer" skill, and found out that when I finished and got back, he was gone from my party.

Liberators of Gobagov

Hmm I'll have to give this a shot.
Think you might be able to improve the walking speed though?
Not sure if it was on purpose or not but after entering my name, the speed of the character slowed down so much. D:

EDIT: So you can improve walking speed in the warrior guild place, which is nice. Though I second the idea of a FAQ that lets people be aware of various beginner things for the game. It does seem quite nice so far though

Thanks glad you like it :), there's a lot of gameplay stuff that went unused/commented out due to the length of the game been reduced drastically from what I originally planned.

Thank you for the bug report, I uploaded the game with about 12 minutes to go before the contest deadline and I didn't have time to test everything, the bug in question is to do with equipment skills. I am planning in a week or two to update the download with a version with all the gameplay stuff fixed/restored and then hopefully eventually release the game with more content to explore.

Oh? That's awesome! I'll definitely keep an eye out for it! ^^

The Golden Fish

Great game so far!

Must say I encountered an error when trying to equip the sapphire earrings relic. D:

Script 'Window_EquipStatus' line 116: TypeError occured

nil can't be coerced into Fixnum

SpaceSave Version 1.3 has been released!

Wowww that's an extensive list! That's awesome, thanks so much for all your work, this is a great game and going even greater~

I can only imagine the pain playtesting a game of this magnitude with different days results could be. xD

Hey thanks, having that many people play my game is a little frightening to be honest. I thought only a handful would be interested, but I guess playing as a baddie is a more popular concept than I thought. By the way, Terrarium still remains my favorite rpg maker game to this day, so thanks for sharing it.

It's more the way the game is I think... it's hard to describe haha.

And oh? Awesome! Glad my simple little game can hold itself up. Knowing other people enjoy playing makes it all worth it and me happy. xD
It's surprising I could finally get a game finished, just started off with a cool thought for a battle system and it went from there. All the things I like in a game rolled into one.

Paradise Lost

Awweeesomee This looks great can't wait to try it. :D
