I had the same problem. Fortunately, KoopaKush did me an awesome favor and "fixed" my save file so that I could craft Al'Setet and recruit Masoud. I'm confident he will do the same for you when asked, probably at the same time regretting that he didn't make these ores reclaimable as he had originally intended to do. :D You miss out on a lot of stuff without Masoud, so it's heavily recommended to recruit him one way or the other.

Dragon Warrior: Begin a New Quest
If you enjoyed Dragon Warrior: Begin a New Quest and want to try out one of Wonderslime's earlier works, I recommend The Lost Legend IV, The Guardian of Light, a really good RPG Maker 2000 JRPG. This is a must-play for anyone who enjoys the aesthetics and mechanics of RPG Maker 2000 (which also means this game is more like a Final Fantasy fangame, but it still includes enemy slimes). I think the only way to download this game at the moment is via the Master List of the "obscure games request topic":

Thanks, Wonderslime, for granting us at least two superb old school JRPGs. Don't let your earlier works fade into obscurity. There are still people out there who appreciate these games even nowadays.

Chronicles of Tsufanubra Review
It irritates me that the aspects that distinguish this game from other RPG Maker (2000) JRPGs - especially the cutscenes and the gameplay (balance) - are labeled as cons. Obviously, extraordinary effort went into the aforementioned elements during development. Why should future developers even bother with this when their efforts aren't appreciated? The cutscenes, by the way, are well-written and aren't anywhere near "visual novel length". And the "kill all enemies to get a special treasure" feature is fantastic - if you didn't have to kill a lot of enemies, this feature wouldn't feel rewarding. Furthermore, it's kind of ironic that someone who doesn't seem to like random encounters complains about too many visible enemies. Subtracting two full stars because of these faulty assumptions is just too harsh. Your misleading review's score is likely to scare away potential players for all the wrong reasons.
I think the game would have profited from additional side quests, yet I respect the developer's choice in this regard, and I wouldn't dare to give this game a score lower than 4 out of 5 stars just because of that. In conclusion, I give your 3 out of 5 stars review a 2 out of 5 stars score. Maybe one must have played hundreds of RPG Maker (2000) JRPGs to recognize that Chronicles of Tsufanubra is at least above average - or maybe one missing full star results from the "Dyhalto involvement penalty". ;)

I found a potentially game-breaking bug. Hidden because of a minor story spoiler:
Since this is the first potentially game-breaking bug I encountered: Kudos for a nearly bug-free game. :)
In Gemeid during the demon invasion, only during the "boss stage": When the party tries to enter the map leading to the mansion and isn't allowed to, they move in the wrong direction (down instead of left). If the party now tries to enter the map leading to the mansion from the bottommost position, the game freezes (because the party can't move down).

Recruiting Krizza early also means she helps out during the bandit's hideout side quest (third side quest in Alpatina), which is supposed to be handled only by Alden and Clark. :D I don't know if having recruited Krizza early is the cause, but during this side quest Alden's sprite is represented by Lyrella's sprite, whichs lead to two Lyrella sprites being present. Of course it's no big deal, just a funny consequence.

You can consult the walkthrough provided by Firefly84. Click on the "Full Walkthrough" tab on the game page or copy/paste the following link:

If you don't know where to look: In order to receive Gaea's Interlude, the third and last Ancient Flute song needed to face the dragons, you have to complete the sidequest von Fairy Island. Refer to page 127 ff. in the walkthrough's PDF version.
Furthermore, you should be able to return to the Water Sanctuary by playing Shifting Winds (Ancient Flute) and selecting the underwater section on the world map.

Thanks, that's good to know. Don't worry, "legitimate cheating" doesn't break immersion for me. :D
I'm sure this occurrence is some remnant or consequence of the "Krizza missing from party after the Sonova play in Utania bug" you fixed previously. The main reason I was worried was because I don't know if the "party bench" can hold more than four members. Since the party consists of seven members (without Krizza) at the start of the free-roaming stage and there's supposed to be another (not Krizza), gun-wielding member in the foreseeable future (because of the guns in the weapon shops that none of my current members can equip), I was afraid I could screw up big time by letting Krizza rejoin early.
Apart from that, the game is fun so far and seemingly bug-free. I only noticed small things, for example: When trying to enter Vidalia from above, the choice panel pops up a second time after having chosen "do nothing". The same happens when trying to enter Utania from below.

During the free-roaming part of the game (2.0 version): If the party goes to the snow continent first (instead of the desert continent) and participates in the play in Utania, Krizza can be "recruited" for the party early, even though she is supposed to stay at Gemeid Holy Palace at this time (she can still be encountered there). Will there be any problems later if I continue my playthrough now or should I just enjoy the opportunity to train her early?
Beautiful game page layout by the way, but it's a pain to read the text this way.
