(rant)For the last time, dd33: It's up to WheelmanZero alone how he spends his time, and if/when he completes the Ultimate Edition and the sequel, and how long it takes to achieve that. Deal with it. You haven't accomplished anything on this site, which makes you the last person I want to hear this "work faster bullshit" from. I don't think you'll get another chance to reflect upon your attitude, since you made even the "unsnappable" WheelmanZero "snap" (at least it's the first time I saw him this annoyed).

Once you've pieced together the Grand Map, Fairy Island should be available on the world map, I think somewhere in the lower left corner. Edit: I was obviously too late, but I'm glad you could solve the problem by yourself.

Fairy Island can only be visited by recruiting Masoud in Ishen (for which you must have crafted Al' Setet, the weapon pattern found in Mirage Temple) and then using his skills to find the five Grand Map pieces. Masoud's yellow circles, which yield said Grand Map pieces, can be found at:

How about "Umbral Soul: Beyond Redemption" for the Ultimate Edition's title? That should be fitting considering the game's setting as well as its potential players. Or maybe even "Umbral Soul: Beyond Redemption - Dawning Doomsday 33" in case someone didn't get the venomous allusion.

Since I wanted to show what the player can expect structurally, I might have revealed nearly too much here and there. Just give me a holler if you think "less is more" applies to any section of my review.
By the way, I almost passed on playing your game because of my own stupid prejudices. Hopefully, this review and the well-deserved score will encourage potential players to give your game a chance. You won me over with "This is not (a dumb meme game)" and "30-ish hours". :D

One last "weekly" update.
Thanks as usual for your hard work. If I had known this game is so much fun, I would have documented typos and even the most irrelevant obstruction mapping errors from the beginning. Nevertheless, I have to admit that playing the game already took up most of my limited mental resources. :D

I just discovered a game-breaking bug, i.e. I got stuck while trying to and had to reload a previous save file (edit: I think this can only happen while rushing with the Speedy Shoes equipped). That's my punishment for always checking if there's still an opportunity to leave the area. :D
Edit: The same can happen when. The sprite somehow slips through the triggered turnaround and then can't return.

Another Quick Update
Maybe a combination of both (updating the main download and providing the patches separetely) would be the best course of action. I for one am glad I didn't need to download more than 1.5 GB again. It also has to be considered that - as long as I play the game - I will bother SpherianGames with minor stuff that doesn't really justify an update of the main download. I'm sure SpherianGames will update the main upload when the time is right.
