LIBERTY'S PROFILE
I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

A simple recolour should work well.
I like the battle style there, but if we do change to MQ monsters and lower coloured battle sprites we'd have to use different backdrops. Maybe I'll find the DQ backdrop rips I made a while ago.

If this were BedRock Men Network...
What do YOU like in an RM game?
In an RPG I like a good story and characters. In general, graphics that won't make my eyes bleed, good mapping and music.
Fun playing, fast battles - I can put up with button mashing and DBS but mixing it up a bit helps.
Also, low lag. Nothing kills an RM game worse than not being able to play it due to lag and/or missing files. (Sorry everyone ^.^;)

Demon Tower has thirty floors
Ah, Craze - you got me mixed up. I played FF1-2, not the other one. So, yeah. That's the one I liked. ^.^ It was pretty cool.
Actually, I'd have to say that Warrior World is the only one of the above that I haven't played, and I may remedy that soon. XP

Question. Can we edit the RTP a little bit? Like, colour and uh, overhangy things and stuff? Just a bit? ^.^;

1, it looks good, would be easy to map with and sets itself apart from other 8-bit games like Hellion and Generica (not saying they're bad or anything, but it'd be best if it had its 'own' style).
Besides - it's bright and colourful. ^.^

The New Earth (sorry dunno which version)
Oh, I don't know. The image itself is rather pretty, it's just the font/writing that needs a bit of work.
Personally I'd be working more on my mapping - it's quite bland. Try to add a few living things into the screen - bushes, flowers, animals.
I'd give it a go if my computer didn't hate XP so much. Strange that it doesn't mind VX, though.
