LIBERTY'S PROFILE
I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

Download Upload
I think what he means is that when he uploads a game or resource to the site the upload process seems to stop after about 20 minutes or so.
It may be a problem with your internet connection or perhaps it's due to site updating or even a problem with the site script. Try again and if it still happens ask back here.
Just remember that the size of the file may also be the cause of the long loading time (actually that's most likely it ^.^).
If the file is over 20MBs then it'll probably take a long while to load up - again depending on your internet connection speed and how bad/good your computer is.
Maybe leave it on for about an hour then check to see if it's done.

Resources, originality and theft
Cool.
I always figured that if I were to want to use something that was someone's original property I'd ask before using it. Or at least check to see if it were free-use. Which is what I've done in the case of the original midis I've collected for RealmS. And always credited in either the game or a readme file (at the very least).
Personally I prefer not to use others' graphics unless they are commercial rips or something like mac and blue. For a few reasons. It just feels wrong to use others' stuff. Especially without asking first. Also, most of the time they have a style that wouldn't fit with my game ideas or graphics I use. XP
Of course, sometimes it can be hard to find out if 'such and such graphic/midi/etc' are original, especially when they're a generic style. Or found on a site where they've been shared by someone else who borrowed without asking.
Which can happen - and then game makers get labelled as a 'thief' even though they thought they were free-to-use resources.
At least give the game maker a heads up to let them know that they can't use those graphics before making a big hoo-hah over it. If they don't feel that using someone else's graphics is wrong then it's their own fault if they get black-listed over it.
That's my two cents, anyway.

Queensbridge is a pretty nice town. There's something about it that's just calming. ^.^ Bridge-towns rock.
EDIT: Quick opinions - Which looks better?

The top one is the one I'm using at the moment. The second is prettier (imo) and the third is the closest to matching the outer appearance.

For the first time eva...

Yeah, that's me. I'm always being told I look really young. ^.^ Girls like being told that - except when they don't.

What are you currently reading?
nickad: I found it pretty good the farther you got into it. A good read.
Northern Lights (aka Golden Compass) is a pretty engaging read. You'll probably find yourself flying through the first two, then slowing near the middle of the third.
Currently reading a book called Midnighters: The Secret Hour by Scott Westerfeld. Not sure if I like it yet. It's one of those pulpy-teen-angst-fantasy-'horror' books. I'm reading it because I'm really, really bored and it's an easy read. (Besides all my good books are packed away, never to see the light of day again or until we move again.)

1001 ways to get in trouble.
Usually each year the Year 12s have a day where they gang up on the rest of the school and pull prank, but because of the idiocy of the year before us, my year 12 class had it cancelled.
The year after got to have their year 12 day, though. It was reinstated.
Funnily enough, our year 12 class was one of the best behaved (barring a few individuals who liked to ride bikes up trees/hold water-drinking comps/pee in teachers' coffee/etc) that the school had had. (Or so it was said at the time.
And I was so looking forward to egging a few year 10/11s.

RMNCast: Episode 8
Good job on this one, too, guys. It's great to listen to an RMcast whilst playing solitaire/RMing/browsing the internet/et cetra.
