LIBERTY'S PROFILE
I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

How much time do you spend on the computer?
There's a life outside the computernetz?
Huh.
Seriously though, most of my time on the computer is checking forums/fics/pics/friends/other stuff I can't remember. The rest of the time I'm either working on RM or playing RM games (or solitaire).

'Important Discussion' time guys...
Ouch! Burn. ^.^
It's fine to express your opinion in a topic, but maybe we should make a conscious effort to not get too bothered when others differ in their opinions.
Perhaps it would be best if we try to comment on something about the posted topic and then post our opinions about someone else's posts in the topic - that way there's at least a pretence of staying on topic.
One good thing that can be said about RMN members is that while there are usually a few debates (which is always gonna happen when different opinions and ideas collide) at least the flaming is pretty low. That's a definite positive.
And apparently I make more sense at 3 in the morning than midday. Go fig! ::)

1001 ways to get in trouble.
Walk into the classroom across from the hall in the middle of a test (teacher had left for some reason) and yelling at that classes teacher to shut up (was hammering a picture on the wall).
Got detention at lunch and had to copy 'D' words and their definitions from the dictionary.

Trash The Movie Above You!
The only good thing about it that I can say is that the video cover looked pretty. The movie itself was like watching paint dry... boring as all hell.

Bad points of one big 'inside' map for towns
Yeah and didn't Everlong have a shitton? Or was that another game?
Another thing I prefer about one map-one house is that it's more convenient if you have a lot of events - even if they're only layering/lighting/timing events.
Though I guess the same can kind of be said for one map-all house maps.
I must say, though, that if I had something like a tower or forest/dungeon I'd keep one map for each floor, even with other floors going up and down - it adds 'realise' to be able to 'see' the other parts of the floor. Or something.

It'd be easier to just delete the comments/posts made, wouldn't it? That'd be the 'consequences of your actions' - not having your opinion heard/read. With enough deletions it'd probably sink in that "Hey, I seem to have a problem here...".
Though, it'd be more work on the moderators part, unless power of a topic was given to the topic maker, but even then, coding it would probably be a bitch.
Or, we could all try to tone down our reactions to other peoples' posts and/or hide anything you'd consider inflammatory-ish in a spoiler.
Or something.
But yeah, it is getting a bit ridiculous.

Nudity in Games
I'm not too sure about this, actually. The idea of nudity in a game (especially an RM game) is... weird.
If it was nudity for nudity's sake, then I'm opposed, but if it's there for a reason (a proper reason) then I suppose it would be okaaaay. Maybe.
I think the closest I've ever come to nudity in a game was in Loves Requiem where there was a scene where the main hero walks in on his 'side-kick' who had just left the bath (she had a towel on). Of course it was a very important scene because she had been pretending to be a man... ^.^
I'm gonna put a general Maybe/depends as my answer.
