I enjoy playing and creating games (mostly RPGs) and have a love of story and characterisation above graphics. I've been into RM* since '96 and have used all makers - started on the PSX makers, found and used a patched version of the SNES RM, then moved to RM95. When I found RM2K I finally decided to join some forums and I've been a part of the community ever since.

Selva - the first city in RealmS.
I had to redo the damn thing from scratch because of an unfixable map tree break (yeah I tried the fix but I must have done something to stuff it up even more.) But that's okay because I had a backup missing only Selva and a cave. Everything else was a-okay!
It needs more NPCs but thought I'd check for any suggestions.

Big Deal: Why are there so few game reviews?
Hm. How about we have an 'unloved' section on the new site? Press a button and a random game with low/no reviews pops up for the review hungry out there?

Finished Games 2009
I finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village yesterday. Got all the (in-game) puzzles too. ^.^

Thanks for the review, Hali. I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I'll look into letting the player backtrack a bit more but some choices you make can't be undone. ^.^
In Ruins Found
I fixed the |\ in the dialogue in the new version and explained how to save. There's no as time doesn't really matter much in filling the objectives of the game.
I am definitely gonna work on finishing this one. ^.^

Best DS Games
I actually didn't like the new FE game that much. Not as much as the the GBA ones. There was something... unfun about it (to me, anyway).
I thought Harvest Moon DS was alright, as well as the ones already mentioned. Also Mah Jongg DS and Bleach BOF+Other one (like fighting against CPU only).
There are also a ton of RPGs on the DS, especially compared to the other systems out there and a lot more coming up.

Video Game Purchases
Received my Chrono Trigger DS yesterday and I must say that so far it's not bad. Though I would like my Tabs and Lode Sword back plzkthnxbb ;.;
I've also noted a few dialogues that were better in the original ('stamps' is one that comes immediately to mind). Still, yay! Portable CT. ^.^

Well, the fireworks display was cancelled this year because of drunks last year messing NY up for everyone. So I just spent a quiet evening at home among friends and family. Sent off a few texts and phone calls, got a few surprise messages. Had a bit of champers.
Looking forward to new classes on mythology and symbolism in the new year. It'll be great fun! Also looking to get a car.
Resolution? Maybe get fitter and to be healthier. >.<
