LOCKEZ'S PROFILE

LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

There seems to be a lot of noise coming from the bar, so I'm going to push my catapult in through the front door and wheel it up to one of the tables that has some customers, and order drinks for whoever is sitting there. And also order four giant plates of food for myself.

I'm going to introduce myself to the customers I bought drinks for:

"Hi, I'm part of a market research team that's trying to gauge the interest in this town in Macguffins. I was wondering if you would mind answering a few questions for me that will take less than five minutes, in exchange for free tickets to a new local theme park. Have you or any of your friends and family ever owned a Mcaguffin? How many people do you know who have bought Macguffins in the past? If you have owned a Macguffin before, can you tell me what happened to it, and whether you would purchase one again?"

I'm game to pick this back up whenever you have time.

RMN Tagline Thread

I said this in Discord and Arcmagik thought it should be an RMN tagline:

"RM2K3 is great for making FF4 clones. But if you try to make a horror game with it, what you're actually going to get is an FF4 clone with a sanity meter."

Double Trouble Review

Nothing you said is wrong. I uploaded this game mostly for the sake of having one of only two RPG Maker 95 games on the website, rather than because I actually thought it was any good. Frankly my only real surprise is that you didn't complain about 16-year-old LockeZ's terrible writing.

We're just waiting on a Dudesoft I think

What are you thinking about right now?

It's much more satisfying to assume the worst about people than to assume they just have regular trivial issues that are basically fine, because if you assume the worst about them then you can feel really smug, superior and satisfied when you yell at them and call them out for being a horrible person.

What are you thinking about right now?

You're not wrong.

I foolishly said I would record them, then I played and recorded about four of them, then I got laryngitis and bronchitis and couldn't talk for several weeks. And then I just never picked the rest of them back up.

How often have you been in the cinema this year? What movie did you last see? Do you also use movies as inspiration for your own games?

The last three movies I saw in the cinema were Star Wars 7, Rogue One, and Star Wars 8. But the last movie I saw at home was The Godfather yesterday. And before that, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs two days ago. And before that, both It's A Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story on Christmas. So, I watch a lot of movies at home.

I would have to make games for movies to inspire my games. Oof.

I would like to attempt to convince this shopkeeper that I'm a very quick-responding investigator looking for the perpetrator behind this terrible tragedy.

"I see you are the former owner of this establishment. Awful what these hooligans did to you, just awful. I'm terribly sorry for your loss, my name is Detective Tom Ato, consultant working with the Acme Dungeoneer's Investigative Bureau, explosion branch. I was called in from Dragonooga to work on your case, and got here as fast as I could. Teenagers these days just blow up whatever they want, they think ding-dong-ditch is 'just a prank bro,' not realizing that it is the end of the livelihood of a fine gentleman such as yourself. You see this key here, this is a clue to the identity of the perpetrator and/or perpetrators, something that will definitely be instrumental in solving this crime. And the catapult, that's evidence too, so I need to confiscate that. Now I'm sure you have questions, but justice waits for no man, and I must be off immediately if I'm to catch this vandal before he leaves town!"

I pocket the key and attempt to leave and push my catapult to the next building, hopefully leaving him dumbfounded.
