Persona 5 Strikers
I'm not sure if I could have predicted who the Monarch of the fifth Jail would be, or if another Persona user would arise/awaken during it. The game's characters sound confident that the next Jail will be the last, but, I'm not entirely sure. It's fine if it's true, but, I suppose I'll see.

Rainbow Vale Review
Thanks for giving this game a go! You're not wrong about the lack of characterization, or underlying narrative. Like, the theme/idea of people coming together, regardless of race, gender, and the like, was probably a thought, given the context of the event, but, well, yeah, I guess it could have been done a bit better/clearer.
SWEET SIXTEEN
It's a cute theme. If I get any equally cute ideas, I might join this.
In the background, one can hear "Taps" for the fallen.

Did we ever get the rewards and MS for the 15th anniversary event?

Maybe this script? Saying that, the download button on that page, I think, might be out-of-date. You'd probably need to visit this page, or Archeia_Nessiah's YEA archive for the actual code.
What do you look for in games that you want to play?
When it comes to 4X games, I've played Endless Legend and Endless Space, and that's about my level of complexity when it comes to those kinds of games. However, my go-to for this genre is more likely going to be Master of Orion 2 - Battle at Antares.
Strategy/tactics, I think hands down, is going to be a Heroes of Might and Magic game. I largely prefer 2, but, 3 is certainly serviceable.
Action/adventure games are when things might get a little muddy. Like, I think I'm tending more towards "Musou" games (ie: Dynasty Warriors, or games like it) lately? I dunno. There is something about being able to take out sometimes literally thousands of mooks without batting an eye. I suppose it might be a "power fantasy" thing.
Role-playing games are probably the murkiest for me to understand what makes me gravitate toward one title over another. Tales of Arise was my latest RPG, and my basis for wanting it was to see what the hell was going on with the Tales series. Like, I emulated a translated SNES ROM of Tales of Phantasis back in the day, and dipped into the franchise again with the PS3 port of Tales of Symphonia. You could probably say the same thing about Final Fantasy 7 Remake; I wanted to know what was staying, and what was changing.
So, if I were to use that logic, the Resident Evil remakes that have been popping out of late (particularly RE4) would be something I could have interest in. Except... I don't? I dunno, I just think I would have more fun with the originals, and you know, having the ability to use CodeBreaker to make it less "survivor horror" to maybe just "horror". So sue me.
*Edit: I should be happier that Konami is remaking/remastering Suikoden and Suikoden 2, and putting them into a bundle for Steam. Those are some kick-ass games, and releasing them as a bundle makes a lot of marketing sense with the data transfer those games had on the PS1. However, like Capcom's remakes of the Resident Evil series, I just can't bring myself to actually want to get it for myself. I'd rather just play the PS1 originals, have easier access to "Stat Stones" by virtue of CodeBreaker use, and make the games just a little easier.

Persona 5 Strikers
Well, this feels like an odd update, but, my party did "complete" a Jail, even if the wasn't a Monarch associated with it. I will say that the "star" of this show was more the original character of this game, Sophie. Though, the game abolsutely set up the possibility of a Jail where the Monarch had already fallen, as that's the entire reason one can revisit old Jails.
The investigation doesn't necessarily end here. A USB disk contained a list of individuals whose hearts have changed. With a peculiar tendency for the members on said list to have government offices, or other positions of influence, or power. If there is a mastermind behind all this, it's someone who has something to gain from having such individuals have their hearts change for the worse.
It kinda feels like things might be coming to a head soon. There is likely to be a fifth jail, and maybe a sixth. As to where they will be, or what I'll find there, who knows?

2023 Misao nomination monthly data
Oops! I forgot about updating this thread for May!
So, the nomination count goes up by 3, bringing our total nomination count to 21. This was the same amount of rise in 2022, and less than the amount of rise in 2021. Total-wise, it sure beats that of 2022, but, still very shy of 2021.
As for June, the expected amount of nominations for the month look like they could be 7 or 8, if you average together 2022 and 2021.

Whats everyones favourite aspect of game design?
For me, it's probably coming up with interesting game mechanics. I probably started to realize it during a two-day create something challenge, where I pushed toward the initial build of my nigh-infamous Wand of Blasting mechanic. While I would never want to do anything like it ever again, the Unite mechanic that's in Baclyae Revolution is, perhaps, my crowning achievement even if the game, itself, is maybe okay. Though, I would be remiss if I also didn't mention Myriad Cypher . Items that have price fluctuations each time a map transfer occurs? Limit player inventory to 50 items in total? Randomly generated quests, whose monetary reward is based on the shortest distance between where you're at and the target location?
I suppose that's the reason why these games are my "showcase games" on my profile page.
*Edit: Lemme just throw down the examples of the Wild Arms 3 style encounter cancel system of Heaven's Gate, which I'm pretty sure was refined a bit in Trail of the Interloper.
