Chronicles of Tsufanubra

In regards to the music: I've never had an issue with games utilizing pre-existing songs from commercial titles, namely because I always had the mindset of "go with what fits, even if it's not original." It's probably a strange way of thinking these days, but I've stumbled upon some "unique" and original soundtracks that left a LOT to be desired, and ruined my experience with the game if anything.
I definitely agree with that. While the on-hiatus game I'm involved with does have original music, I would like to create some short game eventually that would have a lot of pre-existing commercial music. However, I certainly wouldn't go for the JRPG grands of the day, and instead mainly employ semi-recent, semi-obscure Western action games. The kind of music that didn't get heard enough because the game itself wasn't that good, and which will hopefully inspire people to look through the credits and then look up those games themselves.

And I'm pretty sure Lysander is friends with WIP. So he most likely got permission for that too. Respect game creators yo :D
OK, I obviously knew that The Frozen World is Lysander's (that's why I mentioned it there in the first place, along with The Blue Contestant, which is also his), but I didn't know that part. Not sure if The Red Contestant's developer, Umbaglo, got permission from Lysander, but given that it was uploaded on the website before any of actual Lysander's games, then....maybe? Either way, it doesn't really matter now, as it's been dormant for nearly five years.

Wait, is Roach Dookie?
The same person who wanted to remake A Blurred Line and got ostracized for it, even though this place already hosts (failed) remakes of both The Frozen World and The Blue Contestant?
Planet Stuck 2 and the update for the original are coming soon!
author=KumoriCloudGamesauthor=NTC3Yah already have! also thanks for telling me your thoughts
Have you put the game text through the Word document yet?
EDIT: Oh, and make the sled bullshit skippable.
I will try to improve! Also tell me anything you have wrong with the game!
Well, that would be a very long list, unfortunately, which is why I'm writing a review. Just two questions I want now, though:
1) Did the original Earthbound also have a plot about magic crystals? Otherwise, why do it?
2) Why make a boss with Paralysis and not let the player heal it?
* Also, assuming that the "Guardian angel" is male on a website that probably has the highest proportion of female users relative to any other gaming website and is currently run by a woman is more than a little unwise.

Unwanted Engagement is really Shittiest Game Ever (they couldn't make the deadline for the main game so they put up a substitute.).
Woah, that's an...unusual decision. Still, unless it has a horribly broken and un skippable sled minigame, it probably can't be worse then what I'm playing right now.I really should stop picking so many shitty games just because they are short and unreviewed.

Planet Stuck The Return Of Corrin
author=KumoriCloudGamesauthor=NTC3Check around the meteor on the map with the healing station oh and than just guard against the first boss. You may die a lot but just keep trying.
OK, I'm not sure if it's a glitch or not... but what to do once you get to the Crossroads? I can't go south of east because of the ants, and I can't go anywhere after I go north besides that one map with the healing station.

Oh God, just why did you have to make it necessary to interact in that exact spot? I hate games that do that a lot, and it's certainly one thing I very much hope you'll adjust.
And the typos. Seriously, I'm already at 10 at this point, and getting tired of collecting them all. Just post every single line from the game one by one into the Word Document. That should take care of 95% of them.
EDIT: So, I guarded. He still used a 3-attack move that insta-killed "Chriss". I'll probably still finish the game, but I can already tell the review will be unrated to give you the chance to improve, or else it would be in the 0.5-1 star category.

Wow, this is kind of like the new Homestuck in terms of being a wacky, yet well-realised and internally self-consistent setting! It might be a little too silly for my own tastes, but I can respect the work that went into it regardless.

I just would like to stress that The Book of Paradoxia Whispers is a complete and thorough adaptation of the book of the same name. I did not change anything nor did I experiment with new ideas because I wanted a straight book to game adaptation.
Well, I've already said I'm skeptical of that idea, but I can respect the reasoning behind that choice. However, can you at least make Mabel's walking speed faster, or allow the players to activate faster walking speed in the options if they don't like the "realistic" one? That doesn't really change anything about the narrative, but it would make the experience a lot nicer.
Shotgun Knight Review

Hey, thanks for the review, NTC3! I'm a little confused about your initial statement: There were certainly more than five games that came out of the Swap in the Middle with You event. Does this mean we'll get to hear your thoughts on Through Dark and Liar's Soul in the future? I'll be looking forward to that if so!
Well, when I said "all five of them", I meant all five of the "several short games, all left unreviewed", as written in my previous sentence. I currently prioritise unreviewed games above pretty much all else, and when I stumbled on Space Attorney and its "Suggested downloads" linked to four other unreviewed games, I couldn't resist the opportunity. (Now, I found out there was at least one other I missed, Revenge of the Fallen, and review on that is in the pipeline.) Since NeverSilent had already taken care of TDaLS (acronyms can be fun!), it's not as much of a priority to me even if it looks interesting, sorry!

'm not sure what the point of throwing Lady of the Winds under the bus like that was, but there was no need to jab at a completely different game out of nowhere like that since there was a different member involved with that game that wasn't involved with Shotgun Knight's development.
I mean, like I said in the review, I played all five of these games one after the other, before reviewing them. This one was the first review I finalised, though, and as I wrote the conclusion I kinda decided "Well, if I mentioned the three games from the contest that I thought were better, I might just go the whole way and name the one from the same contest I thought was worse as well." I can see how it doesn't come across the best way now, though.
