[UNITY] (Paid) Looking for experience programmer for 16 bit game
Hey dude, some things:
1. Present your game better. You have the opposite problem of most people advertising where you actually have something good, but you sound like you don't care.
2. Unity was primarily made for 3D games. Unless you're planning to segue into 3D later, probably not your best choice. As well, RPG maker is just a game engine. Nobody is going to look at your game, and say "RPG maker? Ew, no way." Use what works, and what'll save you the most time and effort, because guaranteed that will be your limiting factor.
3. Consider the scope and scale. Programming for a jrpg from scratch is vastly challenging as it is. Do you really need those extra bells and whistles? How many successful jrpg's out there do you know of that has all those things you mentioned?
4. Hit up the something awful forums if you haven't already. Their userbase is absolutely massive and full of nerdy types, and your game would assuredly appeal to their tastes and sense of humour. You'll have much better luck finding someone to help you there.
Good luck man.

Alter Aila Genesis Genesis coming soon to a RPG maker website near you!
I don't know, maybe? I've got weird plans in motion right now, so let me see where that takes me.
Wow, you remember that? I actually ended up binning it because it turned out not to be all that fun to play.

As far as I know, Neok had another innovative-looking dungeon crawler in progress using VX Ace before this one, so maybe he'll continue with that. It reminded me of the brilliant Flash game The Enchanted Cave.

Haha, awesome. You know, there is something oddly enlightening about watching other people play your game.

Sweet, I'm bookmarking this and rereading it whenever I need to instill confidence in myself.
Also, mental image of cramming an actual hamburger into my hard drive.

Ha, and I was just wondering to myself who got that post number after seeing 666664 somewhere.

@shayoko
Awesome, glad to see you enjoyed it! Agree that the story could've used a lot more exposition/improvement. One hour is just too short to do anything with.
@thesacredlobo
Thanks for doing this. Sorry about that bug near the end, right before the final boss. Wasn't expecting people to come back that way.
@Korokonee
I'm still waiting on yours!
