at dawn they shrink back to their silken beds.

Is a title screen and logo set up more important than you think?

All of those title designs are awesome.

edit: At first glance I graviated toward the same one as soli because it seemed really dynamic, especially imagining it with some animation, but when I thought about all the rest they all free pretty dynamic in their own ways. The city-scape-in-hair thing has probably been done elsewhere but it's one of my favorites too *cough*combinethosetwo*cough*.

Decided to put all RM projects on hiatus and focus on Pixel Art for now~

4 gr8 justice.

What are you thinking about right now?

I know, shit's insane. We definitely WILL score when we want now!

I didn't know you were a professional footballer.

Compression Techniques in Rpg Maker games.

Every digital camera I have ever owned or seen saves natively as JPG.

"The name "JPEG" stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group"

Why it would be wrong to use JPEG for photographs when that's how they're already saved by just about every camera (I dunno, maybe really high-end ones use something else? I've never owned anything higher than 7.2 Mpx Sony camera) is beyond me.

Plz enlighten.

Also everyone has ignored that RM doesn't even allow you to use JPG so the bad advice from the OP is null anyway.

Testers

Nevermind :<

(it was a bioshock reference)

Testers

most are just there to give colour comments about the colony and then show up as enemies.

I want to take the ears off but I can't.

Testers

I'm totally cool with more tangentially acquired makerscore (is that even how it works?) and I've been bugging you about this in long PMs for a very long time now so I guess "tester" fits! :D

About meal packages, did you ever do anything to change the game-breaking goodness of those at all? Having 12 meal packages essentially makes me immortal, after all.

As for the ID chip thing, Erm, I could have a whirl I suppose but I also wouldn't be too sure about mah ability to make it both good and fitting.

Set Discrepancy

Yeah I regularly clear out rooms with my MC using the shotty or pistol 4 times in a row, and I certainly don't have 8 aptitude points.

Edit: Punishing the player for bothering to get more aptitude points by charging them more when they have more would be the worst thing ever.

God's Pet Lizard

Welp, this is sort of what I meant to post yesterday, but rmn kept messing with my posts.

Rambling about art stuff here -

I think a lot of, if not most, people who get into art go through a phase where they seem to think that more realistic/"mature"/good art = super soft gradients between values and colours and a weird obsession with things being so smooth in gradiation that everything becomes a blur and has no form and I think it's a sort of reflex against the use of flat colours in an attempt to get away from thinking in terms of simple colours (because that's somehow "too basic" or something? I don't know). But it's such a mis-step, because really flat or near flat tones, large value shapes and harder delineation of colour, when used properly, are actually much closer to a represnetaion of reality than the wanton use of soft brushes and linear gradients.

Case in point here:

4 values there, and not a smooth gradient in sight. Sure once your main values are established you can come in and smooth some transitions between values, gradient stuff where surfaces turn toward or away from light sources, or add in some texture and stuff, but hard values should form the basis of your "shading" primarily, if you want things to not look flat.

Anyway, yeah, don't mean to nitpick you to death, just an area of interest for me.
