Phoenix Mafia: Online Turnabout
So...twelve players, right? Which means only a handful of flavours. Does everyone have a flavour, or are there regular citizens among the masses?
Actually, wait-- Isieri, if I pick a mafia member as my client, am I unable to objection vote? I mean a repeat of the Matt Engarde trial isn't ideal but the truth is the most important thing here. Will I get a penalty if I do that...?
Phoenix Mafia: Online Turnabout
There was no way I was passing up having a Phoenix Wright avatar while being a defense attorney.
(I still remember everyone using PW avatars during the original bout-- I was Maya in that one).
Now, just like the real Phoenix I have a slew of magical powers including shoving a jade swirl in your face and falling 50 feet into a river and surviving, but only the second one applies to mafia.

In all seriousness, the defence is ready. is the piano ready to rock?
Anyway, I feel like YM and Cave's behaviour is pretty typical of Mafia games-- I'm not ready to jump onto a lynch just yet. We haven't seen all the evidence just yet, and it's our duty to make sure Mr. Peabody's killers see justice.
I mean what kind of attorney would I be if I just randomly went around pointing my finger at witnesses, right?

excuse me, me and the piano are the only ones who can object here
and I move
to summon Polly the Parrot to the witness stand.

The official English 2k3 version is out!
You know, I won't be using 2k3 myself (I am a spoiled RMXP baby) but from the enthusiasm in this topic, I'm looking forward to the influx of new titles from it. I guess scripting is a huge hurdle for lots of people.
Well done/Congrats to Cherry and Nessiah for pushing this through, you guys must've worked super hard and I'm glad it's paying off.

Smash your controllers, smash your shit, smash your kids.
I have temper issues so I've done it all. Punched walls, tried to snap my controller, bit my controller, in the days of non-wireless controllers, pulled my controller so hard my console fell off the cupboard it was sitting on. also, rage-induced sobbing and screaming.
Sometimes it's a case of 'turn it off and try again tomorrow', and other times its a case of 'im never playing this again'.
Mind you, the most prominent examples I can think of was a dumb part in a Sonic game...and Jak 2. Jak 2 is stupidly difficult in certain parts (ok almost the entirety of Act 3)
edit: notably I've never actually broken anything. I have gotten damn CLOSE, but as a kid I didn't really get much stuff so I did try to not break things.
edit2: i just remembered why-- if I get to the rage threshold where I'd break things I usually bite myself hard enough to snap out of it. I don't break skin, but it's a good wake-up call (for me, do not try this at home)

I feel horrible
Depending on the kind of injury, looking into strengthening your back muscles (slowly, of course) may be a good course of action. One of the discs in my father's back became dislocated/was squeezed by the other discs, and wouldn't stay in place, so he had to get surgery and two rods in his back. He takes painkillers in the mornings and evenings, but he also exercises regularly with bike riding and other routines to keep his muscles strong enough to support him.
But, that depends on the injury. Back problems tend to be quite difficult to deal with because of just how unrelenting today's jobs are.
