Managed to beat Vagrant Story. The final boss is no joke. Time to now play it over and over like I do with Dark Souls.
[RM2K3] Tileset help
It's me again, woohoo. I'm in a bit of a sticky wicket. I'm taking a short respite from Steel Spirit SaGa to work on my bleak sci-fi side project Solitaire Unraveling I was wondering if there was a tileset of a modern/cyberpunk shopping district knocking about anywhere. Things like shop fronts, neon signs.
I wouldn't trust myself to make it as I don't trust me skill enough to work on tilesets just yet.
Thanks in advance.

The Rare/Obscure RM Games Request Topic
Does anyone remember The Eternal Struggle (I think that was it's name) for RM2K, it was some parody about four demons called Sinistrals who terrorized new york, the game was dumb, crude, offensive, and quite funny.
I was hoping maybe someone still had that knocking around.

Dark Souls III -> Bitten by the hype?
Let's Talk Bloodborne
I listen to Hail the Nghtmare frequently. I listened to it non-stop while I was writing a whole bunch of short stories.
Hypogean Gaol story: Where you find the Tonitrus, I tried to sneak up on the kidnapper there, and he noticed me mid charge up. so I wailed on him and caused him to go apeshit, so I turned and ran, and when I thought I was at a safe distance. I stopped a turned around, and he was right behind me. I swore, rolled, ran into the giant pig and died.

The Hypogean Gaol every time, makes me shit my pants. I don't know what it is that makes that specific area so scary.
I have an idea for a game that would work best with a party of six. Is six heroes in a party too many? I know I've seen Craze pull it off well though XD
Whatchu reading?
I was in my local library today, and came across a book called 'The Madness of Cthulhu', I like me some Lovecraft, so I thought I'd skim through one of the short stories in it. First story, first page "HE DREAMED OF TENTACLES" I closed the book, put it back on the shelf, and left without paying my fee for an already overdue book.
Forgive my ranting, but Lovecraftian horror isn't always about tentacles and slimy things. And that to me seems to be the point everyone seems to be missing with Cthulhu.

I want to start a topic about Vagrant Story, but I'm worried that it'll be one of those obscure games that no one bar me has played...
I reckon Magic Ward should help me with Bloody Sin. Then regain my MP with chain attacks, and go through the whole charleston again. Magic Ward is my go to spell, that and Herakles.

I might set myself some challenges on my next run through. one I might try is to not use elemental fusion spells. It'll make the dragon bosses a little tougher. This is actually my second playthrough on VS, first time around I got to the Ogre boss, and I had no vera items, and I was doing no damage, so I started again, actually thought, and applied stragegies to each encounbter, and I breezed through. Even now the bosses and enemies give me little trouble. And I have a weapon for each enemy type. I've got a hulking two-handed sword which decimates dragon type enemies.
One thing I love about Vagrant Story is you can name your weapons. It adds a personal touch, and gives me a chance to be creative with names.
