Well, the therapy is there to help battle these thoughts, thing is I've had them for a long time, so it'll be a while before any noticeable progress is made.

Normally I do do a lot of things to distract myself. But my brain always catches me unawares, like if I'm walking home from my folks, or lying in bed at 3am.

Dark SciFi Suggestions?

Akira is dark sci-fi. John Carpenter's The Thing is a bit sci-fi, but it s bleak and depressing and very gory. Sunshine, that's dark-ish.
