Castles - Masterpiece Set Review

After replaying this and attempting a speedrun, I actually kind of have to agree with Addit's points. Gam too hard, mang. (I especially freakin' hate that boom boom boss with the spike on its head)

Castles - Masterpiece Set Review

How many times have you honestly had to stop and think while playing a Mario game? That's all I'm saying.

In those flip-platform levels in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Castles - Masterpiece Set Review

Wow. Maybe we should have got more beta testers who weren't used to SMBX? I mean, the game was fine to me and I consider this one of the best community projects we've had before RMN World, but I can kind of see where Corfaisus is coming from.

Super Mario Bros. X - The Apocalypse of Foroze Review

The score you gave doesn't really match the tone of this review?

I have the same feelings about this game, though. The game was needlessly difficult and very inconsistent. Had those been addressed, this actually would have been one of my favorite SMBX games.

I think I gave up on this once I reached the ice castle. That level is just impossible.

Pokémon: Uncensored Edition Review

The set of scripts used for this game (and for Pokemon RMN Version) is Pokemon Essentials, and it's designed to mimic the quality of the original handheld games. That being said, the chunkiness of the UI and lack of full screen support is all an aesthetic choice by this kit's creator. I'd remove it too if I knew anything about RGSS.

This review pretty much sums my feelings about the game as well. It's not as terrible as it presents itself to be, but at the same time it has its flaws. I remember arguing against putting an Ariados amongst other low-level Pokemon. >_>

Nebulus Review

Erm... You used the same bikini screenshot twice in this review. xD

Enex2 Review

Thanks for responding well to me criticism! :D

For clarification, I don't completely dislike lots of minigames in a game, it's just that, with this game, it felt like many of them came out of left field, not relating to anything that happens prior to their existence. This in addition to the puzzles of death made the game look hodge-podgey in my eyes.

At least you managed to pull through and finish it, though. I can kind of relate to your story, but in the end I just decided to cancel one of my projects where you chose to make the best of what you had, so kudos anyway. :)

Why not? If you didn't like the game that's your opinion.

It's not the game, it's the review. It's full of grammatical/spelling errors and is kind of lacking a professional tone. Take this sentence, for instance:
You know, that city in the original game that had the radio tower, the train station, the giant mall, and had fucking whitney with her fucking miltank.

You need to capitalize names. You did it with Ethan, so why not Whitney and Miltank? Also I generally disapprove of coarse words in reviews, because again, it sounds unprofessional and it adds nothing to this review.

I know English isn't your second language, but you still could have done better in polishing this review.

Enex2 Review

I already beat Deregade in my playthrough, but it took a second try. I feel like this game is kind of flawed in that the level/stat progression feels pretty forced, like I cleared through every monster before fighiting Deregade, and even then the fight didn't become easier, but blah blah blah I'm going to submit a review for this game as well.
