Tina of the Stars Review

Thanks for the review.

In hindsight I kind of think I made the last two levels too hard, and the boss himself is something out of left field within himself.

After reading this, I think my next update to this game would be to put a save point before the boss, because I am getting the feeling that too many people are having trouble beating this game. Again, thanks.

I don't think it was supposed to be a game, as the genre specifically states "Visual Novel". This doesn't excuse the overall poor quality of the game, though.

Super RMN Bros. Review

Was there any level that scored at least a 4? Dang :x

A wrap-around simple ghosthouse climb. It was good until the boss showed up. Way too many hit points on that thing. Also, the second star is... really? I can't figure out how to get it at all. Not without the level editor. I don't like having to waste my time looking for secret stars where they don't belong.
Honestly, I thought it would be rejected by Halibabica for having a too easy Secret Star, the Tanooki suit is above you right...?

I actually couldn't figure out where it was either untill I realized that the large door in the room of the P switch led to something different.

I honestly expected this review to be a little less positive considering all the bugs and hardships you were having with this. Thanks.

The initial reason why I imposed a limit on the number of lives is mainly due to the system. The HUD is mostly controlled by parallel process events, not scripts. The hearts on screen are just pictures that change according to certain events (be it death or 1up), and implementing infinite amount of lives would require a lot of work. I am not reluctant to extend the cap, though.

That screenshot is OLD. You are playing the right version, are you?
Good review, though what in particular is bugging you about the size of the hearts?

The OutCasts Review

Horrible grammar and rape jokes? This must be the best game!

Lost Identity Review

I like how the audio category got a 3 while the majority of every category got a 1.

Super RMN Bros. 3 Review

I actually liked shell games. For what it was, however, it needed to be shorter to be effective.

My biggest issue with this project is that so many levels were improperly placed. I agree, Ancientnoob, that World 2 should have been World 1, as not only were those levels relatively easy to beat, they were the most enjoyable out of the entire compilation. I admit that when I started playing this I thought the difficult, gimmicky levels of World 1 would set the tone for the entire game.

Overall, I have some mixed feelings about this review. There are issues like the length of levels and improper use of the secret stars that I agree with, yet I felt that there were some things that sounded whiny and not really objective (the complaints about the throwback levels and Kentona's spelling). Personally, I believe this game should at least get a 2.5/5, but that's just my opinion.
