[Poll] Link's best Companion
Even though Twilight Princess is not one of my top 3 Zelda games, Midna seemed way better developed as a character than other companions in the series. So she'd be my first choice.
My second is Spirit Tracks' Princess Zelda. I HATE SPIRIT TRACKS because of that stupid flute that barely works but, regardless the friendship between Link and Zelda in that game was really cute. I hope they find a way to include Zelda like this again sometime except in a much better Zelda game.
My 3rd choice would be King of Red Lions/ King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule. That whole scene at the end of the game was so sad and amazing. I love the end of that game.
EDIT: ignore the first choice I messed up.

A gamer moment
I was looking at a bar of soap the other day called Lever.
And, I couldn't help but think of this Leever:
Ever had a similar gamer moment?

Final Fantasy connections + Gilgamesh anime
So some of you may know that there are little references that connect Final Fantasy titles. (I probably don't know all of them but heres a few I do know about)
FF2 and FF4 - The town of Mysidia is in both 2 and 4. Also, apparently in some of the old designers notes for FF 4 its said that the founder was Minwu the whitemage from ff 2.
FF7 and FF10-2 - I didn't finish 10-2 but from what I hear there is a boy in it named Shinra who is an ancestor to the guy who forms the Shinra corporation in FF7
FF12 and various FF Tactics games - If I remember correctly the Tactics series shares the same world as FF XII.
FF5 and FF8 + many other Final Fantasy games - At the end of FFV Gilgamesh says something like "the next time we see each other I will fight along side you" (This isnt a direct quote I'm going on memory here) next time we see him is FF 8 where he helps you fight in the form of a summon. And, yes this is the exact same Gilgamesh. After being sent into the void by ExDeath Gilgamesh gained the ability to dimension hop so every time you see Gilgamesh in any Final Fantasy game that is the same one from FFV. It's not like how every FF has a Cid those are all different Cids. There is only one Gilgamesh.
So for some of you FF fans I'm not breaking new ground but thats not the end of this post.
I bring up this stuff because I think it would be really cool if they did a comical Final Fantasy anime starring Gilgamesh in which he dimension hops to every different game world in the series. In one episode he can be fighting against Cloud Strife in another he could be helping out Terra and the Returners. In one episode maybe he warps to the world of FF III and a Fat Chocobo lands on him and part of the episode is dealing with shenanigans like that. He's neither good nor evil he just gets into random awkward situations on his quest to find the Excalibur. Also he can bring his buddy Enkidu hopefully in dog form.

A Zelda Movie Cast
Not sure if they should make a Zelda movie but if they did here's who I think they should cast.
Link - Link is an avatar like character. The various Links through out the timeline are rarely even related. Link can pretty much be anyone. Link could be cast as man or a woman and be any race really. It's all good to me. Instead of listing a one specific person here are a few possible Links.
Orlando Bloom/Ellen Page/Donald Glover/John Cho

Zelda - Zelda needs to be regal and determined how about Natalie Portman.

Ganondorf - Naveen Andrews I think can bring the kind of powerful presence needed for Ganondorf. EDIT: Oops I accidentally had one of his character name here sorry about that. I fixed it. I'm not that great at remembering names of various actors and actresses.

Extra Characters
Dampe Steve Buscemi

Tingle Danny Devito

If they do make a movie I prefer they make a new story rather than remake of a particular game in movie form.
Now one movie would be fine but since holly wood likes trilogies my suggestion is the first film be kind of a classic Zelda story but the 2nd and 3rd be a lot more weird and experimental like how Majora's Mask was. That would of coarse mean that Ganon only be in one of the 3 but again I think 1 film would be enough.
More importantly they should not try to cram too much Zelda stuff in the movie otherwise it'll be a mess like the Green Lantern film. Keep it simple.
Complex is good for games but simple is better for movies.
Alrighty then, let me know who you would cast and what your thoughts are on Zelda movies.
Edit: Some of the images links broke I guess so I had to replace a few.

Dubbed and Subbed
This is not about Dubbed VS Subbed.
I get that there are pros and cons for both. I'm not here to debate that.
Here's the thing I've been trying to watch some anime on Netflix but the only option they give me is subbed. I don't read that fast plus I'm usually eating while I watch I need dubbed anime. Is there an option for this? I sure can't find it.
If Netflix wants to get more people into anime they need a dubbed option. I've watched anime in subtitles in the past but frankly I rather not. It's a huge pain in the ass.
Seriously if you know how to get the Netflix streaming stuff dubbed let me know. I've tried the language button on my remote but it does nothing.

How do I get a tester copy to work?
I uploaded a version of my game for testers only. Then sent the link to a friend but my friend was unable to see it instead he seems to have been redirected to the general downloads page.
Do I have to officially designate him as a tester? If so how do I do this?
EDIT : I think me and my Tester got the thing to work so ignore this post.

Experimental guarding ability
One of the main game mechanics in my game is evading enemies.
Some enemies have set paths, some directly approach you, etc. Occasionally there are enemies that move around randomly. Some players have trouble with these enemies. They have suggested I give them set paths or lower the amount of random moving enemies in said area. In some cases I have agreed to doing this.
But, I think random movement can add some fun variety.
I believe the main concern is that they feel that because those enemies move randomly it is not always the players fault when they get hit.
So I thought up a way to change that by adding in a guard ability.
It works similar to Street Fighter 3's parry and Soul Calibur's guard impact.
When an enemy hits you if you press the C button a split second after being hit Lanoa will form a spirit shield negating the damage.
The ability will only be for certain enemies like the random moving ones. My reason is that if you get really good at timing this ability it would make the game too easy and make some other abilities less useful.
Currently I'm using a sound effect to indicate which enemies' attacks can be guarded against.
Do you think this ability would be a good way of alleviating those players' concerns?

Top 50+ Hyrule Warrior characters
Before I get started just want to say if this post is to big let me know I'll shorten it.
If Agitha can be in Hyrule Warriors than pretty much anyone can. Here's my crazy long list of choices. The more *s next to their name the more I want that character in the game so the ranks go from **** to no * at all.
For the most part I tried not to include villains but a couple snuck into the list anyway. Skull Kid isn't here cause I want him to be a villain.
****Deku Butler (The Deku Butler is my top pick. Who wouldn't want to play as this gentlemanly and dapper motha #^{<[&. Plus, I love the Deku tribe. I want to see their swamp/jungle in the game. I want to see the Deku Palace and Woodfall Temple. That area of Majora's Mask was beautiful and Mysterious. But, let get back to the man himself. Deku Butler can use all the attacks of Deku Link plus he has his parasol, candle and the mask of scents. Also, he could have a monkey friend. But I feel his main weapon could be a Deku Stick that he could weild like a bow staff. Anything Deku related could be at his command including Deku Nuts and even a Deku Baba.)

***Darmani (They gotta have a Goron and what better is there than Darmani)

***Mikau (Easily the best equipped Zora to fight)

***The Happy Mask Salesman (He could use a ton of different masks in battle)

***Fierce Deity (I don't need to explain this choice)

***Nabooru (You can't just have Ganondorf represent the Gerudo you need one of the good ones in there)

***Makar (This Cute little guy can have all sorts of nature powers)
***Medli
***Tetra (I always wanted the option to play as Sheik in OoT but since I've gotten the chance to do that in Smash Bros I now would rather get a chance to play Tetra the pirate)

***Sheik
***Dampe (They've been picking a lot of pretty characters so far for Hyrule warriors but the Zelda I know and love is filled with weirdos and freaks. That's where my boy Dampe comes in. He's the Zelda equivalent to Shovel Knight. Ever notice that after the seven years of Ganon's rule in OoT Dampe is one of the only guys who seems to have died. Here's my theory on that. Dampe took up his shovel and fought Ganondorf. That's right the humble grave digger fought to try to save Hyrule. He may have died but he lives on in the Legend of Dampe.)

***Byrne (The dude's got a claw. Wolverine!)
***Gondo and Scrapper (They could work similar to Rosalina and Luma in Smash Bros. Gondo is a black smith so he has tons of weapons at his disposal and he has his pet robot Scrapper to help him fight.)

***Ricky and Moosh (A baby Moosh can ride in Ricky's pouch)

***Old Man (Dude could have Fireballs swirling around him like Gradius options that shoot out other fireballs. Also he could have the wooden sword. For a special attack he could say "It's dangerous to go alone take this" and then stab the hell out of the enemy with the wooden sword)
***??? (An awesome joke character)

___________________________________________________________________________________
**Maple (She's a witch with plenty of possibilities. At least one of her abilities should be to use the Magic Powder)
**Richard
**Schule Donavitch (Artist crocodile sounds awesome to me. He could have powers like Relm from Final Fantasy 6)

**Deku Princess
**Darunia (Give him the Hammer to differ him from Darmani)
**Ruto (Water Magic user)
**Valoo
**Orca

**Jolene
**Malon and Epona (A character that's sure to make Lucahjin happy lol)
**Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule
**Zubora and Gabora (Like Gondo he's a black smith but I've already put a bunch of Majora characters on my top picks plus Scrapper is a more useful partner than Zubora)

**Igos du Ikana (Probably would be better as a boss but I wanted to include him anyway)
**BowWow (It's a chain chomp)
**Renado (Renado's a cool guy and since he appears to be based on Native Americans than for Hyrule Warriors he could get all sorts of Native American weapons like a tomahawk. Plus he's a shaman so he could have magic.)

**Ashei
**Rusl
**Falbi
**Malo
**Hero's Spirit ( A cool character but he might play too similar to Link)
**Guld (This guy could fight like a Diglet)
**Groose
**Tingle
**Yeta

Anime List
Make an anime list.
I thought this topic might be a good way to learn about some interesting animes.
So, let me know your answers to the following.
What's your favorite anime series?
- Trigun - When I was growing up Trigun, Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star showed me that anime could be way more complex and interesting than just Pokemon and DragonBallZ. (No offense to PM and DBZ fans I like that stuff too) Trigun's main character Vash the Stampede and his ideals about a world made of love and peace are just one of many reasons why this show was so great.
What do you think is the best anime series?
- Mushi-shi - Every episode is a fascinating self contained drama about people dealing with mysterious life forms known as the Mushi.
What's your favortie anime movie?
- Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind - I have a strange feeling this movie influenced Final Fantasy. It had a chocobo in it before chocobos existed lol.
It's the first Miyazaki film by the way.
What do you think is the best anime movie?
- Angel's Egg - It's been a while since I watched it but I remember it being awesomely weird and eerily silent kinda wanna watch it again. But anyway Yoshitaka Amano (The old school Final Fantasy Artist) made it. So if you like his art check it out.
What anime are you currently watching or what was the most recent one you enjoyed?
- Space Dandy - Only seen a few episodes so far but I feel like I'm watching a comedy version of Outlaw Star and it's fantastic.
What's your favorite cartoon outside of Japanese and American cartoons?
- Kirikou and the Sorceress - This is a French animation that is an African fantasy. It's about a baby boy who could speak and run incredibly fast as soon as he was born. When he learns from his mom that an evil sorceress named Karaba has killed most of his relatives and fellow villagers he decides to save the village from Karaba.
I love this movie I wish there was more African based cartoons like it (besides it' sequels that is)
-Fantastic Planet - Speaking of French cartoons I couldn't help but also mention Fantasic Planet. It's super surreal and weird as hell.
